 + -1 moreI called SkyBeam on 5-22-15 to request internet services and to set up an appointment for the install on 5-26-15. The technician showed on time with a phone call in advance saying that he was arriving soon (He was a nice guy). I live in a rental and only after he arrive was I informed that I would have to have a signed note from the landlord in order to drill holes into the roof for the antenna. The landlord does not respond to phone calls or emails. I bid the gentleman a nice day.
Description of Work: Nothing.

Description of Work: Install small transmissions dish on the side of the house to access internet using inside modem. He was able to get access to inside of house using location and equipment installed by previous occupants. He was professional and courteous throughout.

 + -1 moreWent well overall. Nice to work with. Understand our desire to not put a dish on top of our brand new house and accommodated our request. Only complaint is that they offered us a free roku and they seem to keep "forgetting" to get it to us. We have to keep reminding them.

Service man was very prompt, knowledgeable. Determined that current bandwidth was best they could provide, but suggested that new planned upgrades on tower would improve the service in the future.

The service is spotty at best. I ordered at 15 mbs service, and never got above a 5 mbs speed. I went back to the 5 mbs service and I typically get less than 3 mbs. The internet service is often slow and unreliable and I know it is not my router because I have bought two new ones. When I call to ask if my service can improve they tell me there is nothing they can do. It's difficult to shell out $49 per month for this type of service.
