Great local roofing company. Exceptional service from start to finish. Timely communication, very knowledgeable, provided great recommendations and guidance throughout the process and handled all extra communication needed with my insurance company.

If I could go back in time, I would choose ANY other company......This company took 3 months after my roof install (in 30 degree weather) to return my calls letting them know they forgot to install my gutters, damaging my home and seriously inconveniencing my family. When we finally spoke to them again, they admitted they lost the guttering order, and said they had the wrong phone number and email and were supposably contacting someone else about my home. They do not care about their customers or value their customers time.

2 weeks after the person came out to quote the job and I agreed to it,  I had to call their office to get a date when the job would be scheduled. The quote person had said I would hear from their office with a schedule date in a few days.  Didn't happen.  When I called suggesting I could go with another quote I had, if they were too busy, they said the gutter crew would be out the next day.
The crew showed up the next day and spent about an hour reorienting the gutters. We had just bought this house and found that it  had settled over the years and debris had accumulated at one end of the gutters, where water had been ponding for some time.  When the crew left, they said when I had the gutters cleaned, the water would run to the drain as it should.  A week or so later, I had the gutters cleaned and found the water was still ponding.  I went up on a ladder with a level and found that the gutter had no incline, so it would be impossible for the water to run to the drain.  Unfortunately, I had already sent Schroeder Roofing a check iin full payment.
I called the office and explained that the job was done incorrectly, the gutter run had no incline and had to be fixed.  At first they said that a little ponding of water was normal.  I said that the water would never drain and that they had to come back out and look at it.  I was told they would schedule it and someone would come out.  I have called twice since this original call and yesterday was told that a gutter crew would be here today.  They never showed up.  I have wasted $330.00 on these people and because the job is paid for, they have no interest in fixing it or standing behind their work.  Anyone who is thiniking  about using Schroeder Roofing should think twice, they are irresponsible and have been less than honest in dealing with at least this customer.

I payed $800.00 more than next quote to have a local roofing company do the work to support the local economy. An unmarked truck pulls up with Tenesse or Kentucky plates. I forget which it was. I tried to talk to the workers and could barely communicate but from what I gathered the closest one was from Denver. After it was completed I crawled on the roof and the workmanship was horrible. The cuts were horribly crooked. On one vent two of the four nails were already popped up an inch. I stepped on with my foot and shoved them back down. The nails were partial covered with a clear rtv as the sealant. RTV is not a roof sealant or even close and only covering part of the nails. There were numerous cuts on the new shingles from cutting other shingles on top with no protection. I called and complained and they sent a cleanup crew. Months later I received a letter from the city saying my roof was never inspected and I could get a fine. I called them again and they said they would take care of it. I just got back down from cleaning the chimney and couldn't believe how bad the workmanship and cuts were around the chimney and vents on the other side of the roof. Nails are still unsealed and holes where they missed and pulled the nail out and never sealed it. I paid extra for prime local craftsmanship and got some migrant roofers with shabby work ethics. A real disappointment. My first negative review  I've ever written but I'm truly disappointed. I have pics, I wish I could download them to this review. Pick a professional outfit, not this one

They did a nice job, within their quote, and were very nice to work with. We gladly recommend them. 

Their tech for this work is experienced and knowledgeable. Schroeder is pretty expensive, and their bid for some other work for us was significantly higher than other bids.

Overall this was a great experience and good company to workwith.  I have since moved and bought a house that needs a new roof.  Wish they were around to help me now!

They were efficient, they finished on time and cleaned up well.

They were very professional from start to finish.  They did the job and cleaned up when they were finished, removing the old broken shingles and disposing of them elsewhere.  Their office followed up the job completion with a phone call to make sure we were satisfied.  They definitely were a good choice.

It was wonderful. They did a great job. I really like the product and everybody I talked to was wonderful and willing to help.

They did an excellent job.  The workers really seemed to care about what they were doing, and they cleaned up after themselves.  They even replaced vent caps that were missing, also painting them for me.  They worked very quickly and charged me a reasonable price.

It took a very long time to get the roof on but what put the nail in the coffin (no pun intended) was the fact after it was all done and paid for, I was sitting in the living room looking up at the tongue and grove wooden ceiling and started seeing nails - all sorts of nails poking through the inside.  It took forever for one of Schroeder's folks to admit they had done it and get someone up there to pull all the nails.  What they ended up doing was cutting the nails off from the inside.  Really tacky and UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least.  They were in total denial and made this one and only re-roofing job a nightmare for me.   

They didn't let us know what day they would come and just showed up. They worked fast and left the grounds clean. We had special arrangement to leave the old fans, which they didn't leave. After completing the job they did not respond to any phone calls regarding the roof installation. Some ridge pieces were flapping and the gutters were vibrating in the wind. They didn't show up to fix these for about 6 months.

They seemed to work pretty well. I don't know that I would give them top marks because when we called them with some small problems they did not call us back for a few months. They did a good job; they are just not really good at following up. Even when we signed up with them they never really called to tell us when they would be out they just kind of showed up one day. I have no complaints with the work.
