Mark was super responsive, was out to pull a new water main to my house in short order. His crew was friendly, they explained what they were doing all along the way, and they did great work on the installation.

Good communication

The actual boring and installation of water main to house was very well performed. Provider promised to come back and patch the concrete in the basement and install a couple of valves. He never came, and never returned any kind of communication. He clearly never intended to do the additional work. I now see he has this reputation from other reviews.

Marc is great! Honest, does the job, advocated for me, the customer, with the water company.. Went above and beyond, even doing some extra work with his machine for no extra charge.

I had a notice from the city saying that I had a "hard leak". I checked and couldn't find any leak. So I called Marc and he said he would come out "free of charge" and help me find it . After checking all the fittings and faucets, Marc found that a toilet was leaking enough to cause the excessive usage but not enough to notice it. He saved me thousands of dollars on what I thought was going to be a main water line repair. I offered to pay him for his time and he said he told me the service call to diagnose the problem was free of charge. Even after offering to buy him dinner he refused to take any compensation because he told me on the phone the service call was "no Charge." Although I didn't need him to "repair" anything, he gave his time and me peace of mind. He is truly a man of his word and I would not hesitate to use him for any of my plumbing needs. A man of Marc's high ethical standards, is one I would trust to do business with. Thanks Marc

Nice guy and very knowledgeable in his trade.The job had some challenges that Marc attempted to resolve. I respect his work ethic and honesty. His skill on the backhoe is excellent but I think he could benefit from having a helper on projects like this one.

Superior skills with a backhoe and by far one of the nicest and most honest people you'll ever meet. It was a pleasure working with such a down to earth guy.

I would use them again

Marc did an incredible job for me. He cleaned the area up so well, you could hardly tell he had been there. I had some last minute "extra work" (not related to the project) that he gladly did for me as well. He is an excellent operator, very reasonable. I highly recommend him!

Marc is definitely an experienced professional and watching him handle an excavator impressed me. He worked around our yard with ease and did the project in one day. He was considerate and his fee was very reasonable. I'd recommend him to anyone.

It was the worse service we have ever experienced. It took over 30 days for the system to be put in. Contractor would show up for an hour and then leave. After the system was in and backfilled the clean up work was never completed. Piles of concrete, tree roots everywhere , ground not leveled. For what we paid for the system the service and job completion is unacceptable. We will never use this service again

Good reliable work done. Needs to communicate more. But other than that good quality work at a good rate.

Marc called immediately after I posted on Home Advisor, and came out the next day to take a look and give a very reasonable estimate. The job entailed demoing a large concrete patio, and then replacing a sewer pipe underneath. The demo work was precise and they were very careful not to damage any other part of the house. The next day, they replaced the sewer quickly and efficiently, and were happy to explain what they were doing. At one point, an issue arose and they had the opportunity to upsell us on additional work, however, they resolved the problem without any extra cost and without trying to sell us something we probably didnt need. I'm not sure most folks in the sewer business would have done the same. Throughout the process, they were straightforward, friendly, and they stuck to their word about what they were going to do, including a few extra things they could have easily skipped. At one point, they even helped us carry in some groceries to the house. The price was also very reasonable and they guaranteed their work. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for sewer repair.

When I filled out on home advisor within 2 minutes I got a call and it was marc construction. Within an hour he was at the house. He had the job completed in 2 to 3 days. His pricing was great. We almost got taken advantage of by MR ROOTER. DO NOT USE MR ROOTER. I would recommend marc to everyone that needs sewer or water lines.

I knew going in, that having heavy equipment in my yard was going to destroy it, but I was impressed at how careful Mark was. He was able to dig the necessary ditch without damaging much of my yard. The installation of the drain field was quick and efficient and passed inspection with no issues. I would highly recommend Schra Construction.
