Nick was sent for my appointment. He came in and quickly diagnosed the issue providing detailed info as well as an estimate of the repair cost. He completed the repair to my system, adjusted the control panel, and configured my sprinkler zones so they would cover my yard more efficiently. He also gave me paperwork on the correct process to blow out my system since I’ve never had to do it before (came from AZ). Very pleased with Royal’s customer service and pricing. Will definitely use them again.

Every job Royal Turf has done for me over the last 15 years has been professionally done in a timely fashion at a reasonable cost. I would not ever use any other company for my outdoor services. They are the BEST.

Job went great! No hang ups at all. Stayed within budget and sprinklers work better than they ever have. Added a few sprinkler heads and relocated a few. Very professional and neat work! Communicated throughout the process and when I needed to ask questions prior to job starting it was easy to get in touch with customer service. And they were extremely friendly! Would absolutely hire again!

When everything goes well things are great, but the true measure of a company is how they handle things when they go wrong. You trust a company to get it right, especially with a landscape project where you envision an end result and hope the company you hire can translate that into reality. But if they get it wrong, as Royal Turf did for us, then you expect the company to work with you to fix it, however they are a company that turns on you very quickly and will not easily assist, or even acknowledge, or respond to remedy issues. Later you will likely find the results of their sloppy work which may be a result of them wanting to quickly finish the job since they know you are unhappy. Some things we recommend you do BEFORE signing a contract with Royal Turf: 1) Review CAREFULLY with the owner Justin EXACTLY what is to be done, then be sure to get the work written out explicitly in the quote. Their email quotes are very basic, cryptic and inaccurate (on purpose?) which they will use later to tell you they didn’t agree to do work you expected to be done. 2) Walk through the project and RECORD IT on your smartphone, again to ensure the mix ups that are VERY common with them are avoided, or at least so you have proof that what you asked for was missed on the quote. 3) Do NOT agree to sign the paper that puts ALL the responsibility on you for anything THEY miss. They will quickly use this as soon as you discover that they are not completing key work you asked for. 4) Carefully INSPECT all aspects of the completed job before paying. There were a lot of quality issues that we discovered afterwards, including a staple put through a line which leaked, a sensor that wasn’t connected, lines installed in the wrong places among others, and we had to pay someone else to come fix as Royal Turf wouldn’t return our calls (since they knew we were very unhappy with them). 5) If things are not going well then call and tell them to STOP the project until there is agreement on what will be and won’t be done. Once they get to what they consider the end of their responsibilities they will leave and then threaten you with bill collection if you try to get them to do the work that was expected. The lady who answers the phone is rude and short with you, this is what you can expect if ANYTHING goes wrong with your job and is a reflection on the business. In summary, they do not always include what you ask for on the quote, we think it is because they want to do the easy work and not tackle harder time consuming tasks or work requiring them to coordinate with another company which they (conveniently?) leave off the quote. When you discover something they are not doing, but that you asked for and thought was included, then they immediately tell you that you signed an agreement indicating THEY ARE NOT responsible for any miscommunications or requirements not spelled out in the quote. The quote is (intentionally?) minimalistic and does not spell out everything in specific detail, so this leaves it open to interpretation. Do yourself a favor and go with another company as Justin and his crew cannot be trusted. Problems happen, but it is how these problems are handled what separates a poorly run company from a great one. Find an honest company who has a record of quality and working with customers to ensure they are totally satisfied.

We feel we tried to work with you on your grievances, but were unable to come to a mutual agreement. Our records indicate that this job was completed in 2014. We provide all of our customers warranty information before your job starts and never withhold this information after your job is complete. We strive to provide quality customer service to all customers within this warranty period for free, and will always work with customers to fix things after there warranty period is over."

They come out in the Spring and in the Fall. We pay about $50. It was good, they did a good job. It's easy to schedule their visits.

Fantastic. I can't recommend Royal Turf highly enough. Admittedly, they're not the cheapest, however, in return for the extra 10%, I did not have to worry about the quality of the project at all. The team focused on not just getting the job done, but doing it right.
Their office staff, the owner, Justin, and everyone on the team was responsive when we had questions, and very easy to work with.
The project ran a bit behind schedule, however, there was no pressure to 'finish and just be done'. They took the time to to do a fantastic job, and delivered on that promise.
Everyone that I spoke with, from the owner to the guy digging holes in the yard was incredibly courteous.
I would highly, highly recommend Royal Turf.

They're amazing. I have everything nice to say about them. We have used them for all of our sprinkler systems. They've added to our sprinkler system and they've changed our sprinkler system for us. They've done three different types of landscaping remodel. They've put in plants for us. We've just used them over the years. We've been in our house for 20 years. We've been using them from pretty close to when we first moved in here. We use them every year for sprinkler blowouts and if there are any issues.

I used them because their sticker was attached to the sprinkler system control unit in the home that I bought three years ago. Their services were adequate. It was satisfactory. I remember them being available and took care of it in a short time. They left the work area clean. I would probably not use them again but not for any negative reason. I am content with the other person that I use for my lawn service as well as sprinkler service. I have moved to a different house in Fort Collins so I am having the same lawn service person take care of my needs there.

The service tech was very professional and arrived earlier than expected, and called to ensure that the time would work. He inspected a part that was damaged during the fall blowout service and described the issue and explained more about the system in general. A part was needed and he went immediately to pick it up, arrived back, and performed the work quickly and thoroughly. The tech provided advice about how to adjust settings to save utilities expense. Very impressed with the service.

Justin and Royal turf helped design the landscaping for our backyard. Royal turf was timely, professional and polite. They did a great job. They returned to trouble shoot and correct a couple of issues and they were always willing to answer questions or give advice.

Unfortunately they were not able to repair our sprinkler system, but that was no fault of their own. They tried really hard to complete the work.

From my first contact, I was impressed with the friendliness and responsiveness of the team at Royal Turf. Justin and his staff are professional, courteous, and when schedules changed due to rain, I was kept in the loop.
I was working from an existing plan, and Justin made some excellent suggestions which we followed and are very pleased.
I would have hired them for the entire backyard (mulch, rock, etc), but their schedule this time of year was pretty tight and my main goal was to get the sod down while I had a few weeks to water.
Looking forward to working with them in the future when it's time to install my paver patio!
