 + -1 moreI had went into the store and it was a mess, it was very cluttered. We felt very uncomfortable. She took my material out of the bag and said that it was dirty, prior to going in there I had not seen any spots on the material. After leaving the store I checked with a cloth store, a sewing shop, and an alterations store based on their recommendations she does not come highly recommended.
Description of Work: I wanted her to make a silk vest for me.

 + -1 moreHer shop is so much fun to visit too! She is basically an artist who can tailor but also refashions and makes new clothing with recycled garments.
Description of Work: She tailored a sequin skirt. The fabric was difficult to work with. Its fits perfectly. Quality job!

 + -1 moreBonnie measured pants against my waist to determine how much adjustment would be needed. She the decided on the best means to accomplish, using the D rings and straps. Bonnie has two apprentices and one decided she was ready for the task. Flawless work and quite heavy duty. A very good job was performed. Bonnie is a very knowledgeable seamstress and teacher. Very active in the local community, also. She is just a pleasure to deal with.
Description of Work: Alterations to a pair of Alpinestars 'trackpants'. Heavy leather leather riding pants that fit very well through out, except the waist. The pants were altered to provide 0 - 2" of take-up on each hip. This was accomplished by sewing in straps and using a D ring to lock. Much like the strapping of a helmet.

 + -1 moreShe creates fashion and does repairs. She is a very sweet lady. I am very happy with her. I recommend her to anyone who needs repairs. She is very good.
Description of Work: She did a bunch of things for me. She altered some pants and repaired a leather jacket.

Rip Club Sewing offers the following services: We used to have a sewing lounge/ sewing club but now only provide alterations, tailoring, dressmaking, mending, leatherwork & sewing, sewing instruction, design clothing and sewing contractors. Private leather and sewing lessons, private group lessons, private fittings for sensitive customers. Patching, custom hats, suits, gowns, jeans and skins.
No upholstery or sewing machine repairs. But we do clean, evaluate, and set the tensions on sewing machines.
