HORRIBLE & UNBELIIEVABLY DISAPPOINTING -- We were renovating our home in Boulder from out of state (Washington, DC area) so it was difficult to stay on top of the work being preformed and he took advantage of the situation. Initially, he didn't pull the correct permits and our home got red tagged which delayed work for 6 months. He went way past the time frames he quoted for the jobs to be completed and finally 8 months past the final date he promised, the home did not pass inpsection and has many items were incomplete. Numerous items were not done to code and must be completely redone (like the stair heights on our deck, ventilation, etc.). The main item is all of the windows and doors were ordered and installed in the wrong color. Then he tried to paint them without following the manufacturer's instructions and the paint is peeling and the warranty is voided. All of his regular workers walked off the job because he was not paying them even though we paid for the jobs in full. He then hired inexperience workers and they did not install items properly, and caused extensive damage to our property. There are also many items and materials missing from our property that we have confirmation were delivered. We fired him and he has now filed a mechanics lien against us claiming we owe him a substantial amount of money, even though he was paid in full for the agreed upon price. He is not honest and has no integrity. Do not use Mike (Arthur) Hull of OFMC, LLC.
