Grizzly responded quickly to my request for the repair. (the next day) The repair was completed and the new sprinkler heads were installed. Their work was professionally completed and the clean up was much better than I expected. With in two days you could not see where they had dug in the lawn to add the two sprinkler heads. Excellent workmanship and cleanup. I called two other lawn services but never even got a call back. I highly recommend Grizzly Sprinkler Repair.

We had an urgent repair required at our house and have used Grizzly for many years and called them again and they saved the day. So quick to come out and figure out the problems and finished everything within 24 hours. Our front and back yard was nearly dead and once he got everything back up and running we had green grass within a week. I cannot say enough good things about this company.

Couldn't have been any worse. He seriously damaged my system, then refused to come back and even look at it, then disappeared and wouldn't respond to my phone calls or e-mails.

This outfit is crooked. They do lousy work and then refuse to come back to even look at it, let alone fix the damage that they did. They also suddenly become impossible to reach on the phone, by e-mail or any other way. Use them at your own risk.

Everything went perfect on this. I set things up about a week and a half prior to the appointment (I had to do it early because I knew that I'd be out of town for a week). Bobby Reese (the owner) arrived on time - actually a few minutes early. The system was blown out without a hitch.

We also talked about a separate drainage problem I'm having. Bobby was very knowledgeable on both the sprinkler system and drainage.

He has always be very professional and fair in pricing. as I have been on a budget.i blew out a pump he replace with a new one better more efficient. at a great pricing. Thankyou Bobby Reese owner of Grizzley Bear for a great Job and Professional attitude

I was very please with their service. I called and their voice mail/message machine was full. However, I got a call about 1 hour after leaving a message. I missed that call because I was in a meeting and he called about 45 min. after the first call. He came out the same afternoon/evening and did a temporary fix to stop the leak and came back the next morning to make a more permanent fix.

I had been having a heck of a problem finding a person to take care of our sprinklers. People would make appointments, then never show up. Or the work would be done, and need fixing again the next day.
Out of desperation, I called Grizzly Bear and was pleasantly surprised, especially given some of the negative reviews. The person who handled the fun was polite and got me an appointment to repair our system the same day. They gave me a window of 2pm-4pm, but the technician showed up at exactly two. He was polite and fast. 20 minutes later our system was fixed and we were on our way. I plan on using them to take care of our sprinkler system in the future. Highly recommended.

We had used them a few years ago to put in a sprinkler system and liked them very much. We were very pleased again with this most recent work. Bobby, the owner, and his employees, go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied.

Grizzly Bear is second to none, this is the second time we have used them for some problems with our sprinkler system. They are fast, wiggled us in within one day and fixed our problem quickly and efficiently. We will always call Grizzly Bear. Thank you for reminding us what a "service" company is supposed to look like.

At first, it was a great transaction. The owner (Bob? embarrassing to forget such a simple name, but I'm not sure anymore. I'll call him Bob for purposes of this review.) was very personable. We chatted about how hard it's been for me to find a reliable lawn care company; I'd been trying for two years, and as soon as summer hits, I'd call a half dozen companies; 10 wouldn't answer their phones, and the remaining two scheduled appointments they either didn't keep, or keeping the quote appointment, never followed through on getting me a quote, let alone scheduling the work. Bob chided the others, saying he could never understand why other people turn away honest work.
He gave me a fair quote for the specific job, and inspected my existing sprinkler system, listened to my other concerns about my lawn, and came promptly as planned to install the rock. We discussed some other projects I had in mind and he had some great suggestions. I paid him the day the work was done, and he suggested I call him to turn on and adjust my sprinklers this spring.
Fast forward to mid-April. It got so hot, I couldn't wait until Mother's Day, so I started calling Bob. I left several messages, and he never called back. I turned the sprinklers on myself; it turned out the the sprinkler heads he had moved were all pointed into the fence. I called Bob again, still without response. I managed to find another company to adjust the heads, but I'm sorry it came to that. I do feel that he should have stood behind his work once he learned that he had re-installed the heads backwards.

Mr Reese fixed the two problems, and also inspected the rest of the system, finding and repairing one more leak and adjusting several more sprinkler heads. His attention to detail saved me at least one more service call, and reduced the waste of water. I appreciated his thoroughness. The price was a good value for the work performed. Recommend highly.

I was very satified with the service and professionalism of Bobby from Grizzly Bear Sprinkler Repair. He was very friendly on the phone, and was able to fit me in on times that worked best for my schedule. He was promt, very knowledgable, and did the job very quickly. Overall, couldn't be happier with the service and overall work. Will definately be calling Grizzly Bear Sprinkler Repair again for all my future sprinkler needs!

It turned out to be a bigger ordeal that I thought but they explained the problem and it made sense. Overall I was very please with the work they did.

Robbie and his crew did great work. They arrived on time and worked hard the whole time they were at the property. They had to work around a couple of large trees but everything went smoothly. Their quote was less than the others but they still used the same high quality parts and installation techniques that the others quoted.

There were several things that they did. Bobby does excellent work. In the categories of good, better, outstanding and maybe even beyond category, he might be beyond any category. He is outstanding. He does good work and takes care of things. He fixed some things and took care of the sprinkler system. He repaired a couple of things and he also came out to do some repair work early in the summer. His crew is good as well. So, I have been really pleased with that. They will be coming back to do some work. I spent about $1800 for the last service. Bobby and the guy who built the deck for us worked together to coordinate the activity in order to do whatever that needed to be done. Bobby was really good about working with my deck builder and put the sod. The sod looks great and there are new sprinklers out there. When it comes to the punctuality, he wasn't on time. However, he certainly explained what was going on and took care of everything. So, it wasn't a big deal and it wasn't like he didn't show up week after week. He was here when he said he would be here. He once had an emergency that he had to take care of and that was probably a bigger problem than I had. So, I was okay with that.

I called Grizzly Bear Sprinkler Repair. The man who answered appeared to be knowledgeable, and they promised to send someone out on Monday (I called Friday). At the appointed time, a very young man showed up along with another guy who evidently spoke no English. They worked for a while and then declared themselves done. Later, when I tested the sprinklers, they were by-and-large fixed, but a few needed some more tweaks and one or two still leaned over. So not at all bad, but not great.I also asked the kid how I should set the timing for each zone. He said that each zone should be set for the same time. This seemed very unscientific to me, especially in view of the fact that in some of our zones the grass appears to be distressed from underwatering. I would have liked an assessment more based on our particular situation.A few years ago, I had some similar problems and called another company. They also sent out a kid and I had the impression then as well that he didn't know too much. My experience with Grizzly is similar.My suggestion to Grizzly: When a new customer calls, send out the owner. Instill a feeling that the customer is paying for professional expertise and advice, not just for manual labor. Once a good relationship has developed, and it's time for the actual agreed-upon work to be done, the kids can do that. I am willing to pay well for expertise, but it's sure hard to find it in this industry.
