Insurance Agencies
We called for a quote and, even though all of the necessary and correct information was provided, the insurance agent kept writing the quote incorrectly and leaving out important and pertinent information. We never signed anything and had to contact the agent multiple times to get things corrected. Instead of making corrections the agent kept saying that he couldn't make any changes to his quote until it was signed--in other words, he wanted us to knowingly sign a document with what amounted to false information. Not feeling comfortable with his request, nothing was ever signed and we just decided to stick with our current provider. A few weeks later we found out that somehow, even though nothing was ever signed, this agent had managed to get the mortgage company to pay for a policy thay never existed. BE VERY CAREFUL with this agent and Farmers. Definitely read everything very carefully and be sure not to sign something that isn't 100% correct.
