I spent many weeks trying to find a quality painter for the interior of my whole house prior to selling. I had a tight budget and it seemed like other contractors would cut corners to make it work. They were going to get it done in a day or two. My meeting with Kane stood out from the rest. It was apparent that finally I had found the qualify craftsman that I was looking for. I did end up stretching my budget a little, but I don't regret one dollar that I spent. He took the time to fix things that the previous painter and owners had done that I hadn't even realized. He spent long hours into the evening working, but sent the crew home because he didn't want to impose on their family time. He spent more time on the job than another other contractor suggested and the qualify shows. He and his crew were very respectful in my house and I had no worries about them being there at any time. The warranty he provides is unheard of in the business and is a huge selling feature for my house. The house looks better than when I first bought it and my realtor is really excited about how well it will show. I wish there were scores higher than A to give Kane regarding my project. For the record, he received an A+++ in all categories. If I weren't moving to Cheyenne, I would hire Kane again and again and again. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he found a way to make it work. My recommendation to you is to have a meeting for an estimate with Kane and maybe 2 more contractors so you know you've tried a couple different options, and you will see what I mean about him standing out from the rest. You will save so much more time than I wasted before I met with Kane.

was very impressed with Kane and his CO. They were always on time, very respectful, professional, and friendly. They did a great job on a very timely basis. He gave the best quote and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I have already hired him again for the exterior painting of our house in June. You definitely can't go wrong with this guy! After getting three quotes for interior painting we decided to go with Distinct Painting Co/Kane Robinson. In terms of pricing, this was the middle quote. We felt that responsiveness and professionalism was important enough to not go with the cheapest quote, and we're so glad we went with Kane. From the first contact through job completion he responded quickly and answered all our questions. He offered good advice and suggestions and was very accommodating of our requests. I am very happy with my choice of Distinct Painting. they were all friendly, easy to work with, and professional. they quickly and easily responded to my questions and quickly worked out small questions to my satisfaction. they used an excellent quality of paint. the quality of their work was excellent. the fee charged may be a little higher than some others, but I think it was fair for the quality for the overall services they provided. I highly recommend them and I would use them again.

Great, The owner, the foreman, and painters were all very professional. The attention to detail was exceptional. They listened to our ideas and all were used. The job was finished in a timely manner we are very pleased with the results. I will recommend this company to all my friends.

Overall, a good experience. There were some scheduling issues once the project was started and instead of taking 4 days as estimated it took almost 2 weeks. Quality of the work is excellent and Kane was extremely responsive and addressed and touched up all items in a timely manner. I would definitely use this company again.

My wife and I recently started our own project to paint the interior walls and oak trim of our 2-story house. We tried our best with our busy schedules, but things were not going as fast as we would have liked them to. Painting the trim was tedious, getting straight lines was not as easy as we thought, and all motivation quickly vanished after the top floor was completed. Thinking of our time, sanity and want for the job to be completed in a better fashion, we decided to search for someone to complete the first floor interior walls and oak trimming. We set up meetings with 3 different companies to get an idea of how this next venture would play out. All three companies had great reviews, so we knew we would have a tough decision to make. Of the 3 companies, Distinct Painting was the most professional, made sure that we felt comfortable with the job we were asking for, and quoted the best price on top of that. Kane set up our first walkthrough to go over all of the ins and outs for this project, making sure to capture every detail that we were asking for. He gave us his professional advice for all of the different options that we had, recommending color ideas that would match well with our honey oak cabinets, mantle, stair banisters. We went and grabbed some sample colors of what Kane recommended, and they looked great. Kane knows his colors and how to match them with each environment. The three colors that he recommended were spot on, so we went with them. The job took 6 days - 3 for the trim and 3 for the interior walls. We made sure to stay out of his crew's way, so that they could concentrate on doing their best. His crew was very professional and polite. As with any big project, mobility within your home can become very limited, especially with a whole floor paint project. It wasn't that bad for us, having the second floor already completed and to ourselves. The completed job looks absolutely amazing, and we couldn't have made a better choice in going with Distinct Painting. We did a pretty good job ourselves on the 2nd floor, but anyone can see how much better a job Kane and his crew did with our 1st floor and basement. Everything was done right, the first time, and it is noticeable. We would recommend Distinct Painting to anyone looking to have their interior walls look impeccable. Best decision ever!!!

Kane and Eric did an excellent job of painting in our house. Kane gave us a good quote that was the best of the three we received. Not only did they do a great job of painting, but Kane came back to help us hang some lights and a picture that was up high. He gave me some yellow tape and asked me to mark anything that I wanted him to touch up and said he would come back in a couple of days. He gave great attention to detail and was very personable! I would highly recommend Distinct Painting to anyone who needs any painting done.

After researching several local companies, we are so happy that we went with Distinct Painting. Kane handled the job from start to finish. Our house looks amazing! Kane does what he says he will do. Very matriculus and detailed. He did not rush the job even though Mother Nature was not helping. Our house was painted at the end of September into beginning of October so weather is very unpredictable. Kane also had an eye for being able to Paint our accent color on some detailed spots of the house which made a dramatic affect on how it looked when it was completed. The pièce de résistance is that we have an 8 year guarantee on the work done!

We hired them to paint the exterior of our house and can give them the highest recommendation without reservation. In fact, we expect to hire them again for some interior work this winter. Kane has the expertise, equipment, and trained crew to do the job well. He is friendly, easy to work with, and takes well-deserved pride in his work and his company’s reputation. He is also able to do wood repairs. He replaced dry-rotted wood pieces instead of just painting over them as previous painters had done, and here again did an excellent job. Our neighbors were even commenting on the quality of the work as the painting was underway. One of them had used Distinct Painting for their previous house and they, too, were extremely happy with the result.

We worked with Kane Robinson that runs Distinct Painting. It's a smaller, local exterior house painting company. We'd heard Kane was exceptional, and we were not disappointed. He quoted the price, including some minor structural repairs, and that was the price we paid. The preparation of the house was amazing. They power washed and scraped away the peeling paint. They sealed and caulked all exposed junctions in the paneling, around windows and doors, fascia and other places we hadn't even thought about. Whenever there was exposed wood, they primed it prior to painting. They repaired all the areas we had requested and some we hadn't even noticed. When it came time to paint, they sprayed the base color, roller-ed the painted area and applied a second coat. Many areas such as the trim, accent, gutters, and doors required brush painting which they did very professionally and with two coats. At the end of the day, the crew always cleaned up prior to leaving. Kane did the final walk-around with us to make sure we were happy with the work. He's warranted the work for eight years and encouraged us to do another walk-around in a month to make sure we're still happy with the outcome. If we find anything amiss, he will return and make it right. Kane and Josh completed the job on time and within budget. Throughout our dealings with them, our satisfaction with the work was always their highest priority. The paint is great quality and should easily last 10 years. We will use them again.

Kane came highly recommended to us by another contractor, and when I also read Angie’s reviews, all I can say after the completion of his work, is … YES, YES, YES to all the glowing reviews! Many of us would prefer an A+ option! From the start when we had our estimate meeting, I knew we had the right person. He is professional, knowledgeable, and unfailingly pleasant and upbeat. It was a true pleasure working with him. He always showed up on time and was responsive to phone calls and text messages. His work conveyed his attention to detail, he used high quality products, and when all was completed, there wasn’t a drop of paint or spatter to be found. Also, we found his understanding of color to be extremely helpful. We have already called him back to do some additional work, and in the future we wouldn’t consider calling anyone else!

Kane was prompt in responding to my initial inquiry and scheduled an estimate within a few days. Estimate meeting was thorough, all details and expectations were discussed up front. Once I decided to hire him, Kane communicated a timeline and what was needed and continued to respond in a very timely manner (a rarity these days). He showed up on time, fully prepared, painted the room, and cleaned up without any issues. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I'm really picky and Kane's attention to detail impressed me; his paint lines (where two colors matched) were near perfect and there wasn't spatter or drips anywhere. Kane has great pride in his work and really is concerned with customer satisfaction. He proved his integrity when a spot on the ceiling that we had him patch was "flashing" - he came back and tried to touch it up but wasn't satisfied with the result so he repainted the entire ceiling, on a Saturday, at no extra charge. I would hire Kane again in a heartbeat.

We hired Distinct Painting to re-paint the interior of our 2400 sq ft home. Areas of dry wall damage were also repaired and re-texturized. Pricing was reasonable and competitive. Our home looks brand new! Owner Kane Robinson is professional, ethical, honest, and a respected expert in his field. He and his team are reliable and provide detail oriented high quality service. Kane is hands on and demands perfection of himself and his team. A rare thing in today's marketplace. We found him to be personable, a good listener, and responsive to all of our concerns and questions. Kane does not consider the job finished until the client is 100% satisfied, which we were! We have already contracted with Distinct Painting for additional work. This is a top notch business which we do not hesitate to recommend highly.

It was a big undertaking but not only did Distinct do a great job (our house looks brand new) but Kane is an incredibly friendly, and empathetic person. He did his best to work around us during, and was incredibly responsive to any of our questions/concerns. My husband and I hired Distinct Painting Company to paint the exterior of our 3300 sq. ft. house in Greeley, CO. We interviewed 6 different painting companies from Greeley, Loveland and Fort Collins and Distinct Painting was easily our first choice. They provided us with an accurate quote, and although the job cost slightly more than what was quoted by other companies, it was definitely worth it. Our house has a hot tub room, a covered back patio and two sheds that make it more difficult to paint, and while other companies complained about how this would make their lives more difficult, Distinct Painting was equal to the task and did an outstanding job. They replaced a small amount of rotted siding on the back and side of the house as well as pressure-washed, caulked and primed a large number or areas that had be weathered and worn over the past 16 years. Further, they took off all the down spouts and painted them as well as painted the siding behind them- most companies don’t do that! They applied two coats of quality Diamond Vogel paint to every surface to ensure good coverage and a lasting finish and also provided an excellent warranty. During the painting process we decided that we did not like the color I picked for the trim. Once it was applied it did not provide enough contrast from the body color. I called up the owner Kane Robinson the next day and he worked with me immediately to fix OUR mistake quickly. One of the employees Miguel completed the majority of the house painting and he worked hard to get the job done as soon as possible. After the work was complete, Kane came back on a Sunday morning to touch up a few areas, which was the only day of the week that worked best for us. Distinct Painting also painted my father’s house, which is also in Greeley. Again they did an outstanding job and even corrected some issues on the roof that they observed when painting the top trim. One of his neighbors loved the worked they did that so much they hired Distinct Painting on the spot. I highly recommend Distinct Painting to complete your exterior painting work. They provide expertise, great service, are fantastic and easy to work with. They are hands down one of the best painting companies in the Northern Colorado area and we will be using them again for other projects in the future. You won’t be disappointed.

Kane did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Ours was a small job, but he still took the time to do it right. We will definitely be calling on him again when we need the exterior of our house painted or if we decide to add more color to the interior. We would give him an A++ if that was an option.

Fantastic! Kane did our interior walls in March and wouldn't have anyone else tackle this job. He painted a full wall of builtins including bookshelves, cabinets and file drawers in an office. It transformed the office from being very dark stained wood to now bright and white. I just love it! He used an oil based primer with a white

Working with Kane was a refreshing change from so many home-repair experiences in the past.  He did what he said he was going to do for the price quoted, maintained communication throughout the process and was on time every day of the job.  Due to the fact that deck-staining needs a 1-2 day window when it's not forecast to rain, and since the weather forecast kept changing, Kane was very good about calling me the night before to jointly decide on a go/no-go decision for the next day. 
I really appreciated the prep done before staining began - all borders between the house and deck were covered in paper and taped.  He was prepared to do paint/trim touch-ups if there had been any accidents but I don't think there were any, he works very carefully.  
The deck looks fantastic and I will definitely hire Kane again in the future.
