Bruce inspected a home for me and performed a radon test in Fort Collins. He was professional and (I thought) thorough (he even got down into the creepy crawl space and found some leaks) so I hired him a second time when the sale of the first home did not go through.  His inspection report seemed extensive enough until I purchased the home and within the first two weeks found out there was a hole in my furnace and it had to be replaced (something he defiantly should have seen as a hole that size would not have just appeared out of nowhere in such a short amount of time) AND my hot water heater was completely shot (shooting sparks and all) and had to be replaced as well.  In addition the upstairs toilet is so crooked I will have to rip up the floor to get it level. I don't understand how on earth he could have missed all that! Very disappointing, I will not be recommending him.

Update 1/5:
Found out today he missed the lack of a quick disconnect on my water heater. Another thing I get to fix that I should have found out about during the inspection.
