Brown Remodel And Construction

Gregg finished our basement years ago, but this is the first opportunity I have had to tell the story. I do not give 1-star lightly; he earned it. Of the many problems, I will list only the top 3: (1) Without asking me, he forged my signature on a building permit application. I only found out because they returned it to me when something wasn't filled out right. (2) We specified that sound-board would be installed in the ceiling, as a layer right above the drywall. Gregg said he had installed it when in fact he had not; he had installed the drywall only. I had to miss work to confront him about it. He admitted what he had done and had redo the entire ceiling. (3) That same ceiling (the redone one), when finished, was so poorly done - so visibly wavy - that we later paid someone else to redo it again, at a cost of thousands. I can prove all three of these things did happen. I would like to leave it at that, but I can and will tell more of the story should there be a denial.
