This company sent out a tech to our home. He took a look at the water heater and saw the pilot light was out. He did not do any troubleshooting whatsoever, only proceeded to say we needed a new water heater. He gave us a quote which included many warranties we did not want so we declined the quote and only paid for the service call. I asked the tech if he could at least light the pilot for us he said he could not for safety reasons. We had another company install which did not do any troubleshooting either. Turns out the gas meter outside was clogged and that is why our old heater was not working. They should have did some troubleshooting but did not do so to make an obscene amount of money. We were screwed by both companies. Our utility company changed out the gas meter and started our new water heater. Companies need to do troubleshooting and actually care about people and not just about making a quick buck.

The technician gave you a price based on the age and condition of your water heater. Clogged gas meters are not common and it would have been discovered had we ever proceeded. Because we were the second company out there, you didnt want to pay for a diagnostic fee. We provided you safe and economical choices for your house based on the information we had at the time."

The work seemed to be done well at the time, and our plumber was a hard worker and very personable. However, we discovered later that they were not authorized to do work on well systems and they installed the wrong tank, which was causing air in our faucets and pipes. We had to have a well service come and take out the tank that Lion installed and we had to pay $900 for a new one, on top of the approximately $2000 we already paid Lion. After we discovered this, we called Lion for a refund for the bad tank or at least some sort of fix for this extreme mistake. They said they would have a sales manager call us but he never did. We have since called at least 6 more times and they still refused to respond and rectify the situation. I finally received a call from an account manager who said he was working on the problem, but that was several weeks ago and he has not communicated with me since. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Mistakes happen, but neglecting to own up to the mistake and rectify the situation is unacceptable.

Quite badly. Bad schedule, no shows, service contract (not really). and 10 year warranty that actually is 6. Much more and all witnessed by third party. The company operated as Benjamin Franklin/ Roberts Plumbing in January 2018 when the work began. l

I do show you have a service contract 2yrs and 1 year for free, that entitles you to 15% off every service, all dispatch fees waived, no after hours fee, all your annual maintenance (Air Conditioning & Ventilation systems, All Plumbing equipment, fixtures, and piping, Heating & air handling systems, Electrical panels, switches, breakers, Outlets, GFIs etc) and unparalleled guarantees on work performed. We do have 10 year warranties available but you chose the 6 year. Your feedback is valuable for us to always improve our service and to make sure we deliver you the best service and experience."

Everything went fine,until the price.How about you stop by my house and checked the air in your tires----I will only charge you $40.00. Your charge to me should not have exceeded $150.00.

I needed a heating and air inspection, and LION found a leak in my HVAC system which was actively leaking toxic CO2 into the home. Two previous inspectors had missed the leak, and when it was shown to me it was obvious they weren’t doing their job right (visible). They then proceeded to call and sort out the warranty on the cracked heat exchanger pannels to get parts at not cost to us (when they could have charged us a margin on their own sale). Selfless service, and integrity come to mind.

I have some problem areas which /Bryan M. put in writing for me to consider my options and decide if and when I wanted the rest of the work to be done. As a matter a fact I am having it done tomorrow 7/24/18. His job was done very professionally and in a timely manner. I definitely will have them take care of my home in the ways I cannot do.

Well, a nice girl showed up and spent about an hour measuring and taking pictures and calling her boss. After that time she typed up a quote of $2,400 to run a gas line under my deck where the outlet in already in place. Seeemed quite high to me so I got several more quotes from other highly qualified plumbers in the area. I ended up paying $375 to get the same work and testing done by another local company I found on Angies's List. I smell a rat!

Great customer service and response time. Always frustrating having major water issues on a weekend. Lion Home Service call response was very quick and was able to have Travis come out on the same day. Travis did a great job explaining what needed to be done and was very efficient on getting the old hot water tank out and replacing with the new one. Greatly appreciate the excellent service from talking on the phone to coordinate service to Travis arriving and performing the work. I would definitely recommend Lion Home Service!

Terra came out and flushed my water heater and informed me of needing a pressure Reducing Valve and repairing my shut off valve. She went above and beyond expected, very informative. Great communication skills! Overall great hire, personable and outgoing. She took the extra mile of informing me on repairs and giving me multiple options. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

My only feedback would be shorten the window of arrival, but hey things come up and it's pretty standard wth service industries. I have to wait 4 hours on Dish... not that big of a deal

Really well! Technician was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. It didn't take him long to see where the problem was and not much longer to fix it. A backed up toilet can be a messy thing and he left my bathroom as clean as he found it. Will be calling them for drain needs in the future.

Amazing!! I had the day off, gave Ben Franklin a call, they were able to come out that day-super convenient for me. I felt the price was easily within the range I was prepared to pay and they installed it on Saturday-another super convenient thing for me! This hasn't been my experience with other plumbers in the past. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

My water heater flooded my house and Stavontae came out to replace it. He was extremely polite and professional. He gave me 3 options to choose from to fit my budget. He cleaned up the mess and even alerted me to an uncapped gas line in my house that was potentially dangerous and I had no idea was even there and active!
