I feel they are a rip off and a person could do much better using a local plumber

First a master plumber came to diagnose the problem. He concluded we needed a snake. He said he was too high level to snake the drain but he would send a tech. By this time it was after hours and he said there would be an up charge for having someone come. I agreed. When the technician arrived he tried to sell us a whole remodel and wanted to bring in a project manager. I said I just need the drain snaked. He went outside for a long time and came back with his estimate. The estimate was $522 to snake the drain but he thought he might need to use a spray which would be an additional $700. Having been around the block once or twice, I realized this was some kind of crazy up sell. I said no. I don’t need a $500-1200 snake for a minor blockage. He still charged me the $89 fee. It was a very strange experience. I would beware of this company. Snake oil salesmen.

When I spoke to the dispatcher they were not able to provide pricing for the jobs. They said that the technician would provide that. They delayed service till the following day. The technician arrived about 1 hour later than the dispatcher had scheduled. The technician did not have any parts to repair the faucet so I went to Lowe's to get the parts while he installed the garbage disposal. When I returned he and I did the repairs to the faucet. The charge to install the garbage disposal was $403.00. The charge to repair the faucet was $453.00. Also a $29.00 Dispatch Fee. The technician subtracted $250.00 leaving a balance of $635.00. Later that evening the repair to the faucet failed. I went to Lowe's and purchased a new faucet. My brother came over and installed it because I have a medical condition on my right leg that prevents me from doing the work. While at Lowe's they had pricing posted for installing a faucet - it was $109.00. The pricing was completely out of line and kind of shady because nobody could give me a price before the work started.
