ABOVE ALL SEAMLESS GUTTERS

The people at Above All are nice folks and only time will tell if the gutter work will fix my leak, but a significant concern for me is the communication with this company. Their office was not particularly responsive to calls or emails. Due to a scheduling error by the office, the crew showed up, announced, and just started working a week earlier than agreed upon. They stopped working upon request when it was discovered they had already started and came back on the correct day. The owner seemed genuinely concerned about the office's mix-up and said he would come check on the project while the crew worked but he never showed. I didn't get other quotes, but the price was about in the range I expected.

I did not have an appointment but asked them near a neighbors house if the had time to do mine also. Expected to pay half of what they charged me. I appreciate the responsiveness but the cost was unreasonable.

We had a great experience. We've had many service providers through while doing a home remodel. Above All was the best! From Ryan who bid the job to our two installers, Josh & Angelo, each was easy to work with and took the time to be sure our job was how we needed it to be. The installers worked hard to solve a problem. They worked WITH us to find a good solution. Not one negative or complaint...not even a small one! Everything was done with attention to detail.

While I was scheduled for a month out, the installation team was able to get to me a week earlier than planned. Work was completed within 4 hours. The new gutters look great!

In addition to Above All, I contacted a couple of other gutter companies and a couple that do roofing/siding/gutters. Above All's price was competitive with other bids I received. They also could replace one cracked fascia board and repair a damaged soffit, while other companies would not, so seemed like the best choice. I also was having my home painted, so wanted the old gutters removed ... then the painting to occur (so the painters could re-paint my fascia) ... then installation of new gutters.  

I contacted Dewey, who had bid my job, and we discussed timing. We set Oct. 27th as the date for for gutter removal, and Oct. 30 for installation of new gutters.  Dewey informed me that Amanda would contact me to confirm. I didn't hear from Amanda, so I called her on Oct. 26th. She said that Dewey had not relayed the dates to her, and my job was scheduled for Nov. 2nd.  I explained that my painters were scheduled, based on my conversation with Dewey, so I really needed the gutters removed and the fascia and soffit repairs made as planned.  Amanda apologized, and got me on the schedule for the next day.

When I came home from work the next day, my old gutters had been removed (with the exception of one downspout) but the soffit and fascia repairs had not been made. Worse, in removing the old gutters, Above All had managed to crack another fascia board; they also broke a window well cover.

I contacted Amanda again, and she offered to have her crew make the repairs when they installed the new gutters, but I opted out.  (Thankfully, my painting crew ended up assisting.)

The new gutters were scheduled to be installed on Nov. 2nd, but that didn't happen until Nov. 4th.  The quality of the new gutters seems good, but after the install, I discovered that one of my motion-activated light fixtures no longer works, and one of the floodlights in that fixture was broken.

So the tally is:  Number of fascia boards cracked by Above All: 1. Number of window well covers broken: 1. Number of light fixtures that no longer work: 1. Number of broken lights: 1. Number of screws left lying around in the yard: 7, so far. (Thankfully, I've found the screws before my dogs' paws have encountered them, so no vet bills yet.)

When I add the cost of these repairs/replacements to the bid costs, Above All's bid price no longer seems competitive!  My interactions with Dewey and Amanda were fine, but I'm none too happy with the aftermath of the crew's work.

The job went beautifully!  They team showed up on time, did the job, cleaned up after themselves, scrap was picked up the next day after being stacked along side the house in an orderly fashion.  GREAT guys!!!  Great job and we would highly recommend Above All Seamless Gutters to anyone.

They were very prompt and professional with an estimate, and did the work promptly after being hired. They did a great job, and even came back and changed one of my downspouts after my deck was removed at no extra charge!

I was not there when the work was done, but the result was better than the original gutter on the home. The improved the pitch of the gutter and used a larger sized gutter.
I was pleased with every aspect of the job.

Installed seamless gutters on 3 sides of our home. The first date it was scheduled we did not hear from them until 11 am and they had to reschedule. On the next date scheduled we called at 08:30 to see what time they were coming and they did not return our call. They did not commit to a AM/PM time, only a day. Difficult for us to schedule an entire day off to sit and wait for them to come.

After calling Above All Gutters, they were prompt with and estimate and scheduled our job right away. No problems with the installation or workmen. I will hire them again if I need gutters.

Great. However, I feel they should have used enough supports in the initial job and not charged me for the repairs. They said the hardware had improved over the years since the inital installment. I suppose that could be true.

Did a professional installation job, with the exception of front entry overhang. The outside corner was cut too long and made to fit.I have to grant the company, their workers were trying to install the gutters in a major thunderstorm. However, problems arose in their response to their work. Following a major downpour - rain came tumbling over the edge onto the concrete pad below. After numerous calls to the company, and consistent follow-up calling on my behalf - the company sent 3 different inspectors - over a period of two months - all trying to convince me that the slope and pitch was correct for this overhang. I finally sent a picture, from the entry, of the pitch and it was obvious that too much material was placed on the corner. The company finally conceded to cut the excess material and there was an immediate, and obvious, improvement to the gutter. They sent a crew to finalize the fix and all are happy now. I am really on the fence about recommending this company. They have a wonderful receptionist, but getting someone to respond to a follow-up on their work has been frustrating, on my side.

Overall we were very satisfied with their work. They arrived on time as contracted and completed the work in one solid 10 hour day. Clean up was excellent. The weather was damp and wet and they worked solid. Two days later they returned and painted the installation metal screws the same color as the downspouts .. because of the rain they were not able to paint we never noticed the small screws were unpainted and were pleased with their professionalism and follow-up. We both would use them again.

Excellent communication. I called to get a quote leaving a message. My call was returned within 10 minutes. We arranged a day and time for an estimate. They called letting me know they were on the way and may be a few minutes late. Above All took time to explain their recommendations and the details of what they would do. They quoted a price which I felt was fair. I called back to set a day and time for the job.

They were on time to do the job, calling again to alert me they were on the way. I took photos and asked questions as the job was being done. The workers were polite and thorough. They got the job done on time and reminded me if I had any problems to call Above All Seamless Gutters back. Clean up was very good, except 4 screws on the concrete, I picked up, which were hard to see. Above All mailed me a bill which I promptly paid.

I was surprised and delighted with all aspects of this job. They were professional and efficient with no surprises or extra costs at the end. They did not try to sell me additional things I didn't need. I would definitely use this company again.
