They arrived the day before expected which actually worked well based on the amount of prep work the crew had to complete - turning this into a nearly 2-day project. Foreman worked well with us to resolve challenges identified during the setup of the project. All work was completed well. Only complaint is a less-than natural curve in the sidewalk and a edge chip once forms were removed.

Went really well. A Concrete was able to come and give us a bid quickly. Concrete was poured a few weeks later. After the crew left, I noticed a minor issue that I wanted resolved. Thankfully, A Concrete sent a member of their crew and fixed the problem. Concrete looks really good.

This has not been a positive experience. We have kinda gone back and forth. We had a contract for a certain PSI  for the garage and driveway. That was not met. They did not do the patio and walkway correctly. So they had to come out and rip that out. They did come out and rip out and redo the patio and walkway area. Unfortunately in the process of doing that. It was just the attention to detail. They did not put plastic wrap on the house on the windows to make sure that concrete did not splatter everywhere. The main thing that I am left with is I have concrete splatter on my siding, my windows. My windows were installed last year and were really expensive. That is the main thing. We tried to go through negotiations with them as far as not following the contract with the PSI. I requested $4500 because we have a clay base and it tends when it gets wet, it expands and when it dry, it constricts. It just causes a lot of cracking and a lot of issues. Of course they did and I did not know until after they poured it. I had called to check after they had done the patio and walkway. We were having issues with that. I made a point in the PSI and got $3500 from the driveway. They tried to tell me the impact test was for $4500 and I told them that is not what I paid extra for. They did reimburse me some money and agreed to settle my concrete. But they also supposed to send someone out to clean up my siding and the windows. They tried to get me to sign a contract which I had saying I would not go onto social media. Basically I gave up my right to leave a review. Because they knew that I would probably leave a review and tell everyone about it. I did not sign it and because I did not sign it, they never came out and took care of the concrete on my windows and siding. They poured the concrete. They did rip out the patio and walkway. I had already done the garage and driveway.  They just strictly poured in the garage and driveway. I had issues with that too.  Everything was lined out in the contract.  They were supposed to do a thickened edge because I had planned to expand into my garage. They came out and drawn up some plans. They were supposed to dig a certain depth in the garage, pour and have correlation and things like that.  Regrade and compact everything down. I had just happened to come out before the truck got there. Nothing had been done. They were really just pour everything. I would have still paid for the thickened edge, grading and compacting and they did not do that. After I had to point out to, I think his name was Sal. Hey look in the contract, this is supposed to be done. They did not do anything. I was really surprised. That should have been my red flag. I know they worked with me on some things. If they had just paid attention to my on the contract. There is no reason why or no excuse for me coming out there and they were just going to lay it straight on gravel. I don't think I should have to sign a contract for them to come out and fix mistakes, they made in the first place. There was so many issues. The positives were that I did get to talk to the owner and he did work with me with the driveway and garage as far as getting was in the contract and what was done. We did negotiate that would appease us both. The fact that he was willing to work with me a little on that but even the stuff like the sealant. The guy came out and sealed it before it rained. We had already rescheduled it a couple of times. I was fine waiting until it had to rain. I guess they just wanted to hurry up and get it done.  It rained 45 minutes after they sealed it. There were a few things that they tried to work with to make me happy which I did appreciate. But they still messed it up and had to come back. And be like hey. this was supposed to be like this. You have already messed up several times. You are coming in and trying to make the customer happy and they should not have to go in and double check your work and make sure you are doing it right. You should just do it right the first time. I had to go in and double check on them each time. It got frustrating after a while. They should have done what was on the contract. If they had just done that initially. Followed what was specified in the contract. You know like, put plastic up to block/prevent concrete from splattering on siding. Making sure that it was not going to rain before sealing the concrete, not pouring directly on dirt. putting in a sub base. You know little duh things. I mean they are a concrete company. You should be putting in rebar before pouring and compacting and regrading. Things like that attention to detail. Things that they should be doing as a concrete company. If you have contract that is laid out with what they should be doing and they don't do it.  Like with the garage and driveway. Not regrading, not compacting. Having the thickened edge. it was all in the contract and it was not done. I almost had to go out there and argue with the guy to have them call the guy who did the estimate for me. To make sure what I was saying was right. I already had the contract and had it in front of me and he still

The entire experience went very well, from the first phone call to the final cleanup. They responded quickly to my initial inquiry, and had someone on site the next day to provide an estimate, and explain the work they proposed to do. The entire team was professional, friendly, and paid close attention to the quality of their work. The price was very reasonable.

They did a great job! They were on time, checked in with us to make sure they had everything set the way we wanted, and followed up the next day. We had a small job, so we didn't meet their minimum job cost, but another neighbor needed work, and they let us combine jobs to get both small jobs done on the same day.
Response from A Concrete, Inc.
"Thank you! We are so glad this way able to work out! We strive to meet everyone needs and we were thrilled when your neighbor was able to come in and make this all work out. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you and we hope to see you again in the future!"

Original quote was $1500, which they said was their min. That was fine, but final invoice was $2000 saying they used more product than estimated. However it was their choice to make it wider, not ours. We did add 2 step downs, so was ok with a compromise. However, the primary frustration was the crew decided to clean their hoses and tools in our front yard (grass) in which that concrete hardened and killed part of the yard. To top it off, when they came back to seal the sidewalk, the employee walked on it with dirty boots AFTER he power washed it...then sealed it, so we now have his footprints sealed into the path.

We have a very large driveway, approximately 2,100 square feet. I obtained five bids, and not only was A Concrete the lowest, they said they could finish the job within two days. Mike the estimator was punctual and submitted a written bid the same day. The other bids I received were all much higher, some twice as high, and they all estimated the job would take at least one week. They showed up as scheduled at 6:30 AM with a crew of eight workers. They worked until 6:00PM. Next morning, back again at 6:30AM, cement trucks there at 7:00AM, and the job was totally finished by noon. We requested they be careful not to damage the stucco on the house when removing the concrete steps, and to minimize damage to the lawn. I am happy to say they were successful. For the price, they removed all existing concrete, reinforced the new driveway with rebar, and used 4000psi concrete. I am 100% pleased. The only remaining question will be longevity. Hopefully in ten years I can add another review saying it has held up well.

These guys came in much lower cost than everyone else we considered. They showed up on the day of our job with about 15 people and they tore through our backyard incredibly fast. After demolishing and removing all of our existing stuff, they prep'd the framework and poured an amazing two-level concrete deck covering half of our very large backyard. They also stained and stamped it, the end product is absolutely amazing!

We are still in shock at their professionalism and how fast they got it all done. These guys worked like a well-oiled machine and we couldn't possibly be happier with the overall experience.

very Satisfied.  Professional quote, high quality work.
My only concern:  They cleaned out some concrete tools on the lawn, could easily have done it on the street.

I am very impressed with the quality and professionalism of A Concrete. My wife and I had 4 different estimates, all pricing was very similar for the exact amount of work to complete. Our builder used A Concrete for our existing back-patio and front driveway and we were impressed that over the first year there were no cracks, so we figured why not use the same company that did the work for our home originally. It was a busy summer so they were 2 months out to complete the work, fortunately for us they had a cancelation and were able to come out 2 weeks after we signed on the approved estimate. The crew went above and beyond even moving dirt for me with their front loader in the backyard so we could complete landscaping faster while they waited for the concrete to cure/set a bit before they completed the broom finish. I have recommended them to my neighbors as well. I do recommend to seal your concrete to their recommendations so your concrete will last even longer. Its been 6 months now and the concrete still looks great!
