JOHN BENISCH CONSTRUCTION

John showed up on schedule to review the job, made measurements, recommended specific materials (in this case, door styles and window types) so that I could make a final selection after viewing them on line, then he took care of ordering the parts and installation. John seems to work with a few other carpenters, but he runs a small operation, and in every time I've worked with him, he's been present directing the work or doing it all himself. He works fast and is very knowledgable about details of carpentry and materials. My experience is that he is mid range in cost. So maybe not the best for someone seeking low cost handyman work, e.g., John discouraged me from low quality materials. ?I like working with John because he manages all the details--shows up on time, buys the hardware, works fast, cleans up when done, and the product is well built.

They took care of the little details by doing things right. They had very excellent carpentry skills, I had ordered a vanity and it came a little bit skewed, and John was able to get it squared and installed properly. The finished carpenter really did high quality work. I've had other work done before that was very competent, but not as finely finished. And they cleaned up well after themselves.
