Did a neat and comprehensive job of refinishing my flooring. Although they had to come back 3 times to address various problem spots, they made it clear that customer satisfaction was a priority and would come back as often as necessary until I was delighted with the outcome.

I hired Andy for an estimate and repair on a small area of my mothers hard wood floor damaged by water. Andy said it was a simple repair, and returned with his tools and fixed the damage right away. I was surprised he made it seem so easy! We thought we would have to replace the whole floor!

We think it went well.  We would use them again.  Quite satisfied with the quality of the work.  We could be flexible with the schedule because the house was temporarily empty.

The owner unfortunately had a serious fall before starting our job so the job was delayed a couple of days. The stairs were supposed to be done first and finished with the rest of the floor. Instead they were done when the floors were mostly refinished. Because of the delays in getting started, the job has gone from a 2 week job to over 2 months. The new floors and the stairs were well-built. But the finishing quality is less than desirable. The top coats were sloppy and missed areas that had to be fixed. However, some areas now look "patched". The trim for the staircase was from the original stairs. The stringer in places looks chewed up. There was a baseboard that is notched from the original carpeted version and was not fixed for the new landing. A couple of the posts had to be lengthened and it is obvious they were. We liked the stain that was put down on the main floor, but the stairs turned out redder and darker than the main floor. We had to make them come back to see the problem. So the stairs had to be resanded and restained. I had to point out drops of stain on the main floor which they did fix. There are drops of polyurethane that are visible in the areas but not fixed. The workers will leave without letting us know when we could walk on the finished areas or when they expected to return. Since my husband and I have to arrange to be here during the work, this has been a major inconvenience. We have had to track them down to find out when we could get the work done. There was no follow-up by the owner on how the work was done so it did not appear that quality of the finish was an important thing to him. And it showed. 2/7/2011 - I've changed the quality down to C as I'm finding places where there were polyurethane drips and uneven top coats
