Getting an estimate and scheduling my move was very easy using email. The truck arrived very promptly in the 30 minute window. However, we had specifically requested 3 men for the move given the heavy/bulky items and a tight time schedule. Only 2 movers arrived that day and my husband (with back problems) had to help them in order to keep our move on track. The move did take longer than anticipated, as a result. They did adjust the price for the 2-man rate, but the move took longer, so I believe we paid more as a result. The items were moved with acceptable care, although they did bump some baseboards and such unnecessarily when putting items down, causing some marks to our walls.

Moving Consultant Victoria Alegria visited our home several weeks before the move, estimated the move would take 1 truck and 2 persons, and even brought foldable poster/picture boxes which came handy not only for posters & such but also served to separate sections of the living room between those items to stay and those to be moved, very thoughtful. Communications with the company were very good, movers were on time & worked very hard. Because BVT also provides needed storage we were able to store our extra car seat until we were ready to pick it up; their ability to store some belongings was very important to us. We would definitely hire them again.

Horrible. No one spoke English. Even supervisor. All appeared to be day workers. Reimbursed $200 for a broken $450 glass table. One worker stopped mid day and requested that I tip him. Another worker quit and said he did not pack anything when few boxes needed to be packed and then loaded. By mid day a full mutiny was on and replacements were sent out replacing the trouble makers. Unlikely few were even legally here. I was over charged at the end with additional fees. I have filed with BBB also. Unbelievable. Worst treatment of any moving company I have had in 8 moves in a lifetime. Use at your own risk

BVT were absolutely fantastic, from start to finish! Victoria is great, and the movers (Clemente, Jeff, Jose Franco, & Jose) did an unbelievable job! Very grateful for wonderful service!

I contacted Boulder Valley Transfer over a week ago via Angie's List. I used the Request A Quote button on their Angie's List page to request a quote. I immediately received an email from Angie's List letting me know my request was sent. It has been over a week and Boulder Valley Transit has not gotten back to me or reached out to me at all.

Boulder Valley Transfer showed up on time, quickly and professionally moved my big furniture pieces from my old to my new home. I paid for "two man and a truck and hours used". It was simple and cost effective. I had moved all other items but really wanted professional movers to do the big pieces so I would know they wouldn't get damage.

Boulder Valley Transfer did a great job moving my goods from a UPack trailer into storage units. Even though it was a cold, snowy day Tony & Marcos were upbeat and professional, and were able to get everything into the units. That wasn't an easy job but they knew just where to place everything to get the most room. I will definitely use them when it's time to move out of storage into my home.

Overall the experience was good. I will say that the packers missed some things, including a kitchen cabinet. In all fairness, we were asked if there was anything else before the packers left and we missed it too. But as professionals, we expected them to be a little more systematic about the packing. The move itself went fine and we found no items broken or damaged. All the fellows were friendly and hard-working. I would recommend them; just be thorough checking the packing job.

For phase 1, Clemente and Alberto (and their truck) did a great job with the move! It took about 4 hours and cost $466. They were courteous and so careful with everything -- making sure that neither our furniture nor our new hardwood floors would get damaged! For phase 2, our BVT team (Marcos, Santiago, Clemente and Miguel), again, were conscientious and careful! Another 4 hours for this and $610. And, all of this with just a few days notice. The movers were great, but so was the office team... Mario (the estimator) was fun and helpful, and Lucy and Tabitha were so polite, prompt, and professional. Great and thorough communications too! These folks were probably slightly higher than the lowest-cost options, but well worth a few extra dollars for the professionalism, communications, friendliness, and 100% competence! We've already been recommending these folks to others with full confidence.

We've moved three times. One was a move from ****! This move with BVT was absolutely the best. Not only are they friendly and professional but they are timely and trustworthy. We had estimates from two other companies but went with BVT because they were the only company to go into detail about the protection of our belongings and the length of the move. Even though the final bill was just a wee bit over the estimate, they were still less expensive than the other companies I talked to. And I do not fault the company for that...weather played into our move so the drives were longer than expected. Nothing was damaged in the move, not one mark on our walls or carpets. I highly recommend BVT for moving. IF we ever do this again (I hope not at our ages) they will be the only company we call.

Yes ... Boulder Valley Transfer IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS! My experience started with Mario Pena, Moving Consultant. I had gotten 3-bids and Mario answered my every question and returned my house a second time to sign contract. I worked with Lucy Trujillo, Coordinator, who was very friendly and worked with my busy schedule. The day of the move, Jose (aka Freddy) and crew (Miguel, David and Clemente) were very accommodating. Went room by room, wrapped furniture in shrink wrap and blankets were used. I was very impressed when one of the crew members would bring an already blemish/scrape/dent to my attention. I would highly recommend Boulder Valley Transfer again All Boulder Valley Transfer representatives were professional, proficient, considerate, and are a big asset to Boulder Valley Transfer. I ask that you pass along my heartfelt thanks for their ‘can-do’ attitude.

Excellent job. On both the pickup and the delivery of our furniture, the movers arrived at the very beginning of their window. The pickup crew was five members and they were very fast. The delivery crew was three members and they worked quickly too. During the pickup, the crew accidentally broke a piece of exercise equipment, but the company took care of this quickly; they ordered a replacement part and the delivery crew repaired the item quickly and well. The delivery crew accidentally broke a lamp and a small table, but the company reimbursed me within a week of the delivery. Overall, a good moving experience.

The movers did a great job at both pick up and delivery. We sold our home after a week of having it listed on the market. We needed storage in between as our new home was not going to be completed until early October. Due to construction, our closing was delayed until the end of October. They worked with our date changes and waived storage charges for the extra days. When the movers arrived at our new home they protected our new hardwood floors, tile and carpet. They also protected our banisters, walls and doors. My husband and I were directing traffic and they placed furniture excatly were it needed to go. We unpacked some boxes while they were setting up our beds and they removed all debri and boxes for us. The men were very courteous and professional. We don't plan on moving ever again but if we do we will call Boulder Valley Transfer immediately.
