Oh wow.. the result is great. The color, the stamp work is as expected. They have a sample park in the office that helped us visualized the work.
However, I think they can improve on their communication. Too many people to talk to. From Lavina, Jim, Robin, Judy, Sherri, Kelli... each person only do a specific task, then I was sent to a different person.
The first time I called, we a got voice mail with the option which extension to choose from. Then, I got another voice mail as the extension I chose was not available. I left a message to call to have someone come for a site visit. Then, after a few days, I called again to the same extension I called. "L" said she already pass my info to Robin is going to have a house visit but don't know when will he come. I asked if I can have Robin's number or pass my info to Robin to call so I know when is he coming. She said she can not give Robin's number but she can only pass my info. Then after few days, no one called me. I called the office again and wondering if anyone will come and when. Then I found out Robin is not coming but someone else.. I think it was Ray.
Then Ray called because his GPS couldn't find my address. I gave him directions and finally get to our house.
After the house visit,  Jim gave us a proposal. We came to the office and saw the sample park. Jim explained in pretty detail how it works. Because I live in HOA covenant, I need to have the patio done by a certain date. He said that they could do it by the week of Sept 21 but don't know when they will come and do the work.
Monday night , someone rang our door bell...  It was Jim and Antonio. I didn't expect them as no one called us about it.
Wednesday early in the morning, they came.  Four guys working and the patio was poured on that day.
Antonio said someone will come tomorrow morning to power spray. I was expecting someone would come in the morning, but they came in the afternoon.  Jesus (I think) came to power spray... he said someone will come next week to seal the patio. Next week passed, no one came. So I had to email Jim again, and wondering when are they going to seal the patio.  About two weeks later, someone came to seal the patio. No one called about him coming. I happened to be at home and I heard noise in my backyard.
After about 2-3 weeks, I have to emailed Jim again because I was wondering if the patio is really done and if they are going to send the invoice to us. Then the invoice came. I told Jim I need to pay with credit card and he referred me to Kelli for payments.
Don't get me wrong... I think they did a good job in the patio. Jim did a good job in explaining us about the process and Antonio and his team did a good job in the patio.  But I wish they would do a better communication so that we know what to expect rather than I have to email and call to get the info needed.
Response from Total Concrete Services
"Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. Please accept our apologies for the communication frustration you encountered during your project with TCS. The departmentalization process we use for commercial projects is obviously not as "user friendly" for residential projects. TCS is taking your comments under consideration as we try to "revamp" our residential procedures to ensure improved communication between future residential customers and Total Concrete Services, Inc"

They did what they said that they would do and they did a quality work. They were very good. I would rate them high overall and would use them again in the future.
