TERREL CONSTRUCTION

First of all our closing date was delayed because the builder over estimated the finish time needed inside.  This is nothing compared to the year of broken promises this poor excuse for a builder.  He has not warranted anything in our home this last year.  We have made repeated phone calls to him to repair things that were not finished in the house and he promises he will send someone out and then never does.  We have numerous open repair items including:  poor paint job, siding that was not installed properly, cracked and poorly installed concrete that has been settling over the last year, large sections of area that were not painted at all, improperly installed gutters that resulted in large water pooling, flashing not properly installed on the roof that leaks into the basement when heavy rain or snow collects, improperly installed drain for condensation in the basement that pooled on basement floor, shelves not installed in closet, improperly installed dryer vent.  Do I need to carry on?  
The list is immense and we have tried numerous avenues to allow him to remedy the issues and he simply has not responded.
The last conversation we had with him, he began cursing at us and said "I just want you off my back."  I have never dealt with such an unprofessional builder in my life.  This is the 4th new construction home I have purchased and have never come across this.  I am amazed that someone with multiple homes being built in the community that he doesn't stand behind his work.
The only reason I am writing this is that I believe is trying to resolve your issues with the person directly, however, when that avenue is exhausted then further action is required.  I would hate for someone else to buy a home from this builder and go through what we have gone through in the last year!
