“1. I contacted Ray to install some blinds and put up a couple of pictures. 2. He sends some FLUNKY named Billy (not Handy) instead of showing up himself 3. The guy (a handyman working for a handyman???) did not stop complaining about the job since he walked in the door. He actually got SNOTTY with me and I was a bit frightened. I had to ask him to leave. 4. He hung the blinds too low so that my windows don't open. 5. He claimed he hung more blinds than he actually did. Obviously, he couldn't even count. 6. He did not know how to drill into concrete 7. It took him 2 days to complete a simple job 8. He ran over to ACE hardware 4 times whilst doing the job When my husband called to ask Ray to correct the job, Ray hung up the phone. Going to small claims court NOT because Ray's company did a horrible job but because he HUNG up on my husband. What kind of business is this??? Next Door Peeps - think before you recommend someone. Very sad!”

I called Ray in early August about replacing our old mailbox stand.  He was quite booked up in August but he did come by to look at the project and give us an estimate.  We set a September date for the work to be done. We provided the paint (some left from exterior house painting) and Ray provided wood, primer, cement etc.  Ray showed up on time, worked hard, and was very personable.  The mailbox stand looks great and is very solidly built. The final charge was about $25 less than he had estimated.  We will definitely use Ray again; I am compiling a list of household projects that we just never seem to get around to. It is nice to know someone we can call who is reliable and who's price is reasonable.

We needed an air conditioning unit replaced and it was a non-standard installation. Ray found the right unit, went and got it and installed it in a very professional manner. On that same trip he replaced some screens and fixed a couple of electrical problems.
