Great experience! I contacted several tree services in the morning, and a few hours later I had a quote from Parker - they Googled the address and could clearly see the tree in question, and provided a firm price based on that. So they didn't even have to come out When they provided the quote, they also said there was a possibility they could take care of it at the end of the work day (that same day), since it was a relatively small job. They were able to fit us in that afternoon. In fact, they came out and removed the tree before I heard back from any of the other providers I had contacted. They did a great job. Took about 30 minutes, and they cleaned up after themselves. I asked if they could leave us the trunk and large branches to cut up for firewood; they did that at no extra charge, even cutting the logs into manageable lengths and putting them behind the fence for me. It was an excellent experience, all around.

I had two estimates, and the most affordable and timely was from Parker Tree Service. They were wonderful at communication and got back to me within a day of me contacting them. Responsiveness was fantastic and professionalism on site was great as well. I wasn't able to be at home for most of the tree trimming and when I returned I could barely tell they had been there, debris-wise, but the large apple tree they trimmed for me looked great. They also trimmed up a box elder in my backyard that was sagging after checking in with me about it and I appreciated the care they took to make sure we were all on the same page regarding work and cost. There were no surprises and my trees were well taken care of. I would hire their services again.

Jamin's scheduler returned our initial phone call immediately, and he arrived to analyze the situation himself. His bid was carefully itemized and included a packet of information about tree care as well as copies of his liability insurance and worker's comp. coverage (we did not even have to ask for the latter, and any customer ought to verify insurance information for work that has the potential to be quite dangerous).  
We set up an appointment for Jamin and two of his crew members to perform the work soon after obtaining the bid. They showed up as scheduled, did the work efficiently, and cleaned up every last branch before leaving.  We will certainly call this company again in the future.
Even if you've worked with other licensed arborists in Longmont, I recommend calling this company for a comparative bid. I think you will be as impressed as we were. This man knows how to run a business in a first-rate, professional way.

From the time I met Jamin, and he spent time with me explaining the estimate, till they finished removing one of my large cottonwoods, and pruning another one of my trees I found Parker Tree Service to be very professional.  I actually took off the day and observed the entire process of the tree removal, which as i expalined previously was watching a well oiled machine at work.  From watching Jamin go up and cut off very large sections of the tree, to watching  the crane dropping  the tree, and his workers piece it out, and put  itt through the shredder was amazing.  Everyone in his crew was friendly and very accomodating when I asked questions.  When Jamin returned later in the day he pruned the third tree of my estimate.  When they finished they cleaned up my location.  My experience with Parker Tree Service was very positive and I would usethem again, and would highly recommend them.

This is the second time that Parker has trimmed a tree for me and the team was courteous and efficient and they cleaned up after the work very thoroughly.  When I asked him, one fellow was kind enough to give me an opinion on a  landscaping job that another contractor had done. He gave me very useful information.

I will call them for future tree work.

Jamin was very prompt and professional in setting up the estimate appointment, returning calls and emails. He brought an information folder to the estimate and answered all my numerous questions. He is very knowledgeable and personable. I felt confident that he knew a lot about trees and their care.

The cottonwood tree was trimmed the way he described it would be and the crew did a great job cleaning up.

I am using Parker Tree Service for winter trimming of a crab apple tree and will use them for future tree services.

Jamin was top rate in the services provided. While he was a little more expensive then other quotes I received he came across as very professional so I trusted him with our business. I could provide lots of detail like how they stacked firewood and cleaned up well, but I'll simply say that I'll be having him back for any future work we have done. That is the strongest endorsement I can provide.

This job was well explained, estimated exactly and performed perfectly. Reponse for the estimate was same day, the agreed upon shedule was kept, the job was done exactly as explained and the bill was as predicted. I spoke with several services before hiring Parker Tree Service. Jamin Parker is the most professional, the most suited to his job, and has the best method of removal, and hands-down had the best attitude about providing what I wanted up front. He brings a crane, a fit crew, a huge mulching truck and trailer to the site. He is willing to set the mulching apparatus to a landscape-grade and leave high quality mulch behind. Amazingly - most services act put out if you ask for landscape grade mulch from your own tree. His crane is over 100' and provides easy access to trees without having to get right next to them, and each limb is lowered to wherever it is easiest to work on and clean up and not allowed to shatter on the ground or create debris. His crew was carefully selected and closely managed. He put the mulch where I wanted it. The job was all done in just a few hours and I had nothing to do to follow up or prepare for this job other than give access to the vehicles as needed. In addition the man was personable and had great customer relations skills. As a Realtor I look for this kind of talent to refer to my local. My do-it-yourself neighbors were a bit jealous of my experience. I highly recommend this service and will be trying him out on some pruning tasks on other trees.

They arrived promptly, even a little early, which was fine with me as it took 5 hours at least to do all the work and clean-up. The Austrian pine looks gorgeous now - you can actually see its shape and appreciate it much more! They pruned the spruce at no extra cost, as it hadn't been on the list to do, but came up in discussion. They cleaned up beautifully - our driveway that had been covered with limbs and trunks and leaves was spotless.

This was the second time I had used Parker Tree service. Very professional, highly knowledgable. Arrived on time for the estimate and the work. I thought the work was first rate at a fair price. I won't even bother to quote anyone else the next time I need some pruning done.

Jamin was professional in his work and he got the work done within hours. He provided information that I did not know about and he explained how he would get the job done.

I was very pleased with their service and responsiveness. They were not the cheapest bid but Jaman's willingness to meet me in person for the bid and explain to me in detail how to approach a tree trim and show me documentation of workers comp insurance as well of a list of certified arborists in my area made me most confident that he would trim my tree well. We did have a misunderstanding of what would be included in the bid as I was hoping to keep the wood from the trim and use it as firewood, but I think we both saw how the misunderstanding arose and he graciously went with my take on the matter.

We had a 50 ft Cottonwood tree between our house and our neighbor's house and it died this year. After getting bids as high as $3200.00 for removal and stump grinding we went with Parker Tree Service and they were excellent. Their bid was by far the most complete and impressive: list of references, copy of insurance, detailed explanation of the removal process and the crane that they use to remove the cut pieces, and explanation of stump grinding process complete with photos. Their bid came in the middle of three others. They were very professional, punctual, and priced well. Would definitely use them again.

I was happy with the job they did 3 years ago so I had them come back for this work. They did a fabulous job this time and it was a major operation. He got into that trees and lowered the branches down as he couldn?t drop anything so it took him a long time. He took the tree down in several sections and once he de-limbed the whole thing he dropped it exactly where he was supposed to. He didn?t have any room for errors. It was done with great precision. It was a top notch professional job done. I think that price was absolutely the best I could get.

It went great - when I called Jamin and told him that I wanted to hire him for the work he arrived the next day and completed the job in about 6 hours. He provides a packet that explains the techniques he will use to take care of your trees, whether it be trimming or removing them. They also use a belay device to lower limbs to the ground instead of letting them drop and ruin your lawn.
