Jason, the design person was extremely helpful in clarifying our design of the back and side yards. He had some very nice suggestions and gave us various choices of the materials they would use, e.g. the type of mulch to put down. They also strung electric wires so that we can later add some lights to our two trees and some of the shrubs. What we most appreciated is his timeliness in showing up for appointments, the overall amount of time spent discussion the project, and most of all his non high pressure approach. His crew were also very nice and good at what they did.

Napp Landscaping came up with a great design, very reasonable price for the scope of work and showed up every day to get the project done in a courteous and professional manner. I highly recommend this company. We love the work they've done!

I initially thought they were a sprinkler company, but it turns out they are not. They seemed to be very inexperienced. I had just put down new sod, and he decided he needed to tear up my yard and replace my sprinkler. All he had to do was pull up the sprinkler head and replace it. Instead, he tore up the ground all around it, and then he put in another sprinkler head that was too big. I called to have him come back and fix it as it still sprays all over my driveway and is not pointed in the right direction. When I called and complained about the guy, they told me that he was the best they had. I asked if they would send someone else out as the original guy messed up my yard, and they were supposed to send someone out but nobody showed up. I waited around and nobody showed, nor did they call. I also need to add that I paid them in full already. 

This is now our second time using Napp, and when the need for more work arises, we will be headed right back to them. Jason came out to do the initial estimate and was very honest with us about costs involved and a realistic timetable. The work that was done looks great--they even placed some unexpected but needed mulch along the front fenceline for us--and the crew was very careful about not killing or removing the plants my wife wanted to save while still nuking every weed on the property. We live right behind a horse farm, so keeping weeds under control can be a challenge, but these guys did a great job. The lawn maintenance crew also does great work for us, and our lawn looks as good as it ever has when they finish. There was one sprinkler head mishap during a service, but Napp sent someone back out to replace it, no questions asked and at no additional cost. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the work these guys have done for us so far, and they will continue to be our go-to for landscaping and lawn maintenance in the future.

1)Dug up lawn unnecessarily. Brought wrong size head/adjusted wrong. Came unannounced 2 hours early - nae on truck misspelled. Second time brought head too large - spraying in neighbors yard. Still not adjusted right. Asked for better quality person to come out. Finally gave up! scheduled person to come out x3 (never showed & never called to reschedule.

The crew struggled with the Trex deck from the start. I do not think that they are expert in installing this kind of material. The initial railings were installed crooked and I had to have the designer and salesman come out to correct it. When the job was and quot;finishedand quot; the stair railings were cut too short and did not meet the posts. In addition, they failed to use bottom supports that are required every four feet in the Trex installation directions on the deck rail. This resulted in a shoddy looking finish and a wobbly railing. Napp's has done other work for me and I consider them to be good landscapers (although not the cheapest). They have come out to fix this now twice and it is still not satisfactory. Do not use these folks to build a Trex deck. They cannot do it.

Outstanding quality. Thad was a pleasure to work with. I was impressed with his vision for my landscape. From hardscaping to plant selection he had it all covered. I was surprised how quickly he responded to my inquiries and how quickly the work got done. His staff was very responsive and his laborers did quality work. An all-around great experience.

I would definitely use Napp again, and probably will for more than just sprinkler repair.  It was easy to schedule an appointment with them and they were punctual.  Repairs were made quickly and the cost was quite reasonable.

They did an excellent job. They just finished up a couple of weeks ago. They should be on Angie's list.

Napp Landscape Services, Inc are very efficient, they show up when they are supposed to, and they seem to know what they're doing. The price seems to be reasonable because last year I was paying a lot more and they were just mowing the yard. They answer any time I try to get a hold of and they come in to do their job and leave. I plan to use Napp Landscape Services, Inc in the future. 

Thad Napp was terrific to work with.  His office staff are easy to schedule through and good communicators. Thad understood our vision for our landscape and deck rebuild project and translated it well onto paper..Now we can proceed with HOA approval, project budget development, contractor bid acceptance & scheduling.  We plan to ask Napp Landscaping to bid on our project when budget and schedule are completed.

Am very pleased with the results.  Went smoothly.

They gave me some advice on outlining it and did the prep work.  They were really good with the prep work.  I found them on Angie's List.  The crew was very nice and very helpful.  They would explain what was going on.  They had to make minor changes where they ran the irrigation or something.  The mulch they brought in was very generous.  It was as much as it should have been in depth.  I thought they did a really good job on preparing the sod too.  They brought in really nice sod.  The person who first talked to me about it later came out on the job and saw the people who were doing it and told me what was going on.  Sometimes we never see such people again, but that was not the case here.  I don't think it was the cheapest job that I could have had, but I was really pleased with them.  I would use them again.

The work turned out to be very successful, and I was very satisfied. I liked their honesty, high integrity and follow through and the kind of plants that they used. They did what they said they were going to do. They had a good price, and it was comparable with others. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future; in fact, they are going to come again in August to do an arbor for me.

I had them completely gut my backyard and redo it. They were recommended on Angie?s List, but I think I might have done more shopping around based on the results. I thought that they could have done some things better. I guess I was led to believe based on what I had read on Angie?s List that there would be more involvement with the owner himself. The owner came over and talked to me initially and sent me a plan, which I appreciated. We negotiated back and forth about plan changes, but I did all of that with the office manager, which was fine. I have never met the office manager, and I did not speak with Mr. Napp directly again after that. I guess I was not a priority because I spent $7000 and not $25,000. I was not happy with the way the sod was put in at all. I took it upon myself to go out and trim it myself because it was badly overlapped in many places. I spent about an hour and a half in the yard two weeks later doing my own trimming. If I had known more about landscaping and what went into it, I would have asked a lot more questions upfront. I assumed that if they were going to tear my yard and put it back in, they would put down weed barrier before putting mulch over the yard. When I realized that they were going to lay the mulch out without any weed barrier, I had to stop them. I would use them again in the future but not without checking around with other providers first.

I've worked with Napp Landscapping on a three-phased landscaping project. We just finished phase 2 this summer. (These were small landscaping projects in HOA neighborhood) Napp was excellent in delivering to my requirements....simple, low maintenance, privacy, xeric. I loved what they did and plan to use them for my final phase. They were on time, came back promptly when something was missed, did a great job in clean up, and were clear communicators. They also helped removing tree stacks that had been on the property since I purchased the place.

He was excellent. They were very efficient and the timeframe was exactly the way they said it would be. If I hadn't seen them I would not have known they were here. Everything went through exactly as I wanted it. I have something else I want done next spring so I told them I would probably be calling them.

Thad and Napp Landscape are top notch -- don't waste time looking any further for an outstanding landscaping company. This project was the second one they did for me. In 2009, they ripped out a delapidated deck and installed a beautiful flagstone patio. I actually enjoy spending time in my backyard now. Thad takes the time to get to know you, designs something that will fit your needs and budget and is responsive about concerns and questions from start to finish. His crew is great -- always leaves the site looking nice -- even mid-project. Their office manager is also very responsive and friendly. I plan to use them again next year to do my front yard. This is the happiest I have ever been with a contractor.

The crew was great, on time each day, and finished the job in the time that was quoted to me. The job was then checked by a supervisor. They also did a great job of explaining to me how to maintain the new system. I was very happy with everyone I dealt with. Their price was much better than other companies that quoted the same job, yet I don't feel like I sacrificed quality at all.

They were thorough and neat. They did what they said they would do. They would cleanup before the weekend like power wash the driveway and make sure that everything is neat.
