Very well. My dog is shy and lives on a large property. She was happy and well-cared-for. (My older dog died 2 mos. ago - she had been taken care of here for several years - they were absolutely great managing her severe orthopedic problems. They also took care of her when she was bitten on her face by a rattlesnake!)

This was our first visit at this vet and will be the last. We had to find a new vet because we moved. My cat is 14 and I've never seen her get near as angry as she was in the room with the veterinarian and the technician.I submitted a request for an appointment online and hadn't heard back after 2 days, so I called. They were able to accommodate an appointment very soon after my phone call. When we went in, there were no other clients present. Everyone there was polite. Once in the exam room, the technician was taking her temperature. She had to do it twice because she forgot to turn the thermometer on the first time. This caused visible extra stress and discomfort for my cat.Once the veterinarian entered, the technician was to hold the cat while the veterinarian gave her vaccines. Mind you, this is an 8 lb. fairly docile, friendly old cat. She wasn't able to hold the cat still and my cat ran across the table, causing the needle to fall out mid shot. They had to get a new needle and finish the shot. So my cat got stuck an extra time because the technician couldn't manage her. I'd hate to see how well that technician does with an aggressive cat or an 80 lb. dog! Maybe she was new... The cat ran and hid in her carrying case, hissing, growling (which I've only heard before a time or two when cornered by another animal), and crouching down ears parted. My previous veterinarians asked many questions and gave suggestions, related to her diet, dental hygiene, behavior, and changes thereto. In this visit, I ended up asking all the questions as I didn't feel like they covered any of these things.Sadly, while everyone there was very kind, it was just not a good experience. I'm now looking for a new veterinarian.

They aren't cheap but they are not cut-rate by a long shot. But, I think for what they do, that's fair price. Our experience with them has been good. We like the vets. They've done extensive surgery on our dog. They've done a good job.

We have been taking our pets to Longs Peak for more than five years now. Dr. Davidson especially is a wonderful veterinarian. She understands our needs and is wonderfully compassionate with our pets.
The vet also has a great doggy daycare in the back.

They are extremely patient with me and my dog who has Epilepsy. They are very knowledgeable and recognize us went we come in. They are a very good clinic and everyone is very nice. No matter if we see the same doctor or a different doctor they all know my dogs care.

This vet office is incredibly friendly, professional and reliable. My current dog came into my life in not the best shape and they've been helpful, patient and informative through the entire process. I feel very supported by them and trust their work wholeheartedly.
I also board my dog at their kennel, and it always goes great.

Fantastic!
The office is clean, organized, and staffed by helpful and courteous people. The doctor was kind, gentle, articulate, and knowledgeable. Dr. Mones explained everything to me in a way that I completely understood and made several suggestions to remedy the problem.
The follow-up from the office was great and they even sent me a very nice "Welcome" card in the mail a few days after my appointment with a personalized message inside.
Longs Peak Animal Hospital is my new vet!

overall, this vet was very punctual, professional, and thorough.  I was very happy that I didn't have to wait excessively to have my dog seen, get the tests peformed, or get the results.  In fact, my only complaint about this vet is the cost.  I was not expecting to spend anywhere near $200.  perhaps I'm naive due to the fact that I received much cheaper vet services on the military base until now.  I honestly thought this whole procedure, which took about an hour, would be closer to $50.  again, their prices could be completely fair and I'm just unrealistic.  otherwise, everything was great!

Very professional service. Worked with all the vets who helped save my sick kitty from fatty liver. I got updates daily as to progress, and everyone there was extremely caring, and professional. We were lucky to have found these wonderful people after just moving down here. Our cat had to stay in hospital care while we were away on christmas break, and we felt very secure in doing so. This clinic even calls you after you pet is picked up to check in, they offer care credit for payments to. We had to have some lab work done at CSU which was the only downfall due to how long it takes them to get the results back into you, kind of makes you wonder what the point of it is when you have a pet that is so sickly they could die any day. It was hard to wait for the diagnosis so that we could move on with treatment. Thats not Long's Peak Animal Hospital's fault, it is CSU's. Overall wonderful clinic, very clean, very nice people, and they have excellent hours.

Our border collie was having trouble eating and walking; we took her to Dr Dan Mones at the Longs Peak Animal Hospital. He was very helpful and kind and clear about her test results. The tests showed that she had cancer throughout her body. He was very understanding and was open to many options for treatment. Unfortunately, she took a turn for the worse that very night and it was clear that she needed to be euthanized. Dr Debra Davison performed this for us and she was very sympathetic, described the process fully and was there for us when it was over. A few days later, we received very nice, hand-written sympathy cards from both doctors for our loss. We were touched by the professionalism of this whole office and by their true sincerity. We would definitely use this facility again.

My cat fell two nights prior to my visit. We went to the emergency animal hospital because it was after hours. LPAH (my regular vet) called the next night to check on her. They told me that if there were any issues, they had openings the next morning (xmas eve). A day and a half later (morning of xmas eve), my cat was not eating so I called when they opened and had an appointment an hour and a half later. I arrived on time and was in a room a few minutes later. The vet tech and vet reviewed the emergency file and took notes from me. The vet checked out the cat and gave me his opinion that her lack of eat was probably pain related and not due to something more serious. He offered to take x-ray's, give her saline and an appetite stimulant. I declined the x-rays and opted for the saline and stimulant. The vet agreed and did not push the x-rays. Three days later my kitty is doing so much better.

THE EMPLOYEES OF LPAH ARE TERRIFIC. THEY ARE GREAT WITH OUR DOGS AND HAD US IN AND OUT VERY QUICKLY. THE ONLY THING I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE DONE IS LET ME KNOW WHEN I SET UP THE APPOINTMENT THAT THEY NEEDED TO DO A WELLNESS EXAM ALONG WITH ADMINISTERING THE VACCINATION. THE COST WAS MORE THAN WHAT I HAD ANTICIPATED BECAUSE OF THAT.
