I requested a three-drawer cabinet to be placed in the space under the counter in my kitchen that had been designed as a desk. I considered it wasted space in my kitchen. I also wanted a mantle over my fireplace instead of the useless small box mantle that had been put in place by the original builder. Alex Jordan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in designing and constructing these two pieces. He told me the hardest part of the cabinet would be matching the original coloring of the natural alder that had been in place for five years. It took three weeks for the instruction of the cabinet. I can't tell you how amazed I am over the fit of the cabinet. You would not know someone placed it in the space after the rest of the cabinets. I wish all my drawers were the same quality of this piece. I was not pleased with the original color match so Alex took one of my current drawers and had the finisher redo the color. I am extremely happy with my cabinet.

Alex came up with a great design for the mantle. The fireplace has some unique corners surrounding the area and they had to cut down the original box and do some drywall patching around the area. Can't tell where the repair was done. I asked for a painted mantle and Alex told me they are not painters. Most of their work is stained finishes. After I painted the mantle and wall area, the piece is great.
