Harrison Fence

It went very well. Brian was great to work with. I have had our fence for 3 years now and it looks great. It is definitely one of the best built fences in our neighborhood. I would absolutely use him again and I have recommended him whenever asked.

Excellent. He did what he said he would do (and more). The fence looks beautiful. Brian was a pleasure to work with. His work changed the appearance of our place substantially. We were very satisfied.

Brian and Chrissy were great to work with.  They were both very patient with us while interactively working on the design of the fence and arbor, and they did not rush us into getting the work started before we were ready.  Brian was quite willing to consider our ideas and flesh them out into a fence design that's both practical and good-looking.  Even as construction progressed, they were willing to make adjustments as we saw how things were coming together.  Brian himself supervised the crew most days and was directly involved in all of the work.   The quality of the construction is outstanding and the fence and arbor look great.  
They were neither cheap nor fast.  But the results we got were worth the price and the time taken to do it right.

Things didn't go so well. It wasn't until the fence was almost completely installed that I pointed out to Brian that it looked wrong. He bid the job for a top cap fence, but forgot, I guess, and built a picket style fence that didn't match my existing fence at all. He came up with some kind of solution that looks o.k., but it wasn't a good situation.
Some months later I was desperate for some other fence work and called Harrison Fence again and left a message that was never returned. Bad communication.

Brian provided a fair estimate for this work and stuck to his bid exactly. He also worked extremely fast, and cleaned up completely after the fence was completed. The quality of his work was excellent - sturdy 6 inch boards with nice hardware and he custom built a beautiful 8 ft. arched double gate that is now the envy of all my neighbors! The one negative was communication. He was hard to reach at times and slow to bid, but showed up exactly when he said he would for both the estimate and the work so very satisfied overall.

They have been good in the past but lately they have not tried to keep in touch with me and are not returning messages so I am kind of irritated. I think they do a good job but I don't know how easy they are to contact.
