This was after I simply tried to get an install date after paying a deposit and waiting, waiting, waiting with no communication. He went on to say: I don't know if you work weekends or Sundays, but I try not to. I had to beg for anything after the quote. Jay does not work Sundays, weekends, or evidently most other days. Threatening me when I merely asked for an installation date, by telling me that he would send my text to all the contractors, basically implying that y'all powerful Jay will see to it that no one would let me hire them, is immaturity and a contractor who is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. Take a look at the Yelp reviews for this bozo. You work hard for your money. Jay doesn't. He doesn't work weekends by the way and completely resent debugging him on the weekend to the point where he threatens you. Angi? Did you stop screening out the contractors who live with their mother?

Enviroshapes were very easy to work with. Jay was very good with explaining what he planned to do they removed old concrete driveway one day and poured new the next. I am very happy with work that was done by Enviroshapes. Thanks Dave D

This is the second job I have done with Enviroshapes. The first was a driveway, stamped concrete walk, and stamped concrete back patio. The most recent job was concrete pour over former paver and brick areas. I am satisfied with both projects and the workmanship and customer support of Enviroshapes

This was our second major job with Jay after he replaced our driveway in 2013 and did an excellent job. Once again Jay and his crew did an excellent job, we had very good communication with him, several times we needed to modify the job due to well established tree routes and come up with a creative solution for a ramp. We are very pleased with the result, the quality of work is excellent and it matches the prior work that was done.

He provided a prompt quote, was at the lower end of the prices we received for our job and spec'd a higher quality driveway than his competitors. Jay was great and answered any questions or concerns I had in a timely fashion. Workers were courteous and professional and cleaned up after themselves. It was a pleasant experience from the first estimate meeting to the wrap up survey. Jay, the owner is personable, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. The bid was competitive, the installation crew was excellent and even made recommendations on the design of the porch portion of the job to make it more attractive and functional. Very substandard work. Lots of problems before 1 year warranty. Have had concrete evaluated by other concrete experts and they pointed out several errors EnviroShapes made. They will not not fix problems or even communicate. Warning,...do not use this company...

Crew was very punctual, experienced, polite, hard-working in our 90+ degree heat, and the clean-up was excellent. We would recommend this company to anyone. The quality of the work was fantastic.

I do not have enough characters to type the entire story behind this nor does it seem that I have the ability to add pictures of various dates along the way (which I wish I could), but this person has treated me miserably for almost 18 months now as I have tried in vain to get him to honor his warranty for my driveway cut (and other lesser issues, one of which I had to take care of myself - cleaning many pounds of large and small concrete drips off my front lawn) which started to crumble shortly after it was done in mid-January 2019. All this time I have been complaining about it and it was already looking pretty sorry at well within the warranty period of one year when prior to that he made a pathetic attempt at a **goop repair** that completely crumbled and made the problem even worse. He has given me one excuse after another and lied to me multiple times about when this would be fixed. Now because I am trying to hold his feet to the fire and force him to keep another promise he seems determined to break, he is threatening me to not repair my driveway cut EVER, JUST FOR **BUGGING** HIM about setting a date for the repair!!! So being that I do not make threats, I decided to post this review to see if this will finally prompt him to do what he was obligated under his warranty to do all along. Hear me out...this guy actually did an excellent job for me about 10 years ago and that is why I used him again in 2019. But things with him must have changed since then. IF THINGS GO WRONG, I have found he can and WILL try to avoid doing the repair, and he has made numerous types of excuses for why my driveway crumbled, why he could not do the repair right away, etc... I have neighbors who have their original driveways from 20 YEARS AGO and all of them are in better shape than mine is now. He tried to blame Mag Chloride which we have NEVER used specifically at his suggestion. I called the City of Brighton and even they do not use Mag Chloride on my street!!! So how did it get there? But that is a fallacious argument anyway because of my neighbors as I mentioned above. I am convinced he lied about finding Mag Chloride driveway as an attempt to get out of his warranty, but I guess based on what I uncovered he fell apart on that as an excuse. The last of the many promises this guy made to me to repair this was the end of this month (July) and that was July 1st (two weeks ago). He had the nerve to tell me today not to bug him anymore after how patient I have been with him when I merely tried today to get a date from him. I am so upset about this you cannot imagine, or maybe you can. Because of his threat to me to not repair my driveway after waiting so long...if my driveway cut is not repaired by July 31st in the manner I specified, this review will be PERMANENT and I will hire an honest company who keeps its word about warranty repairs. The amount of money to pay someone to re-do my driveway cut is not worth a fraction of the trouble I have been through with this person so far if I were to just let him off the hook and hire someone else...but this guy has been particularly egregious in his treatment of me, so I cannot let this go without warning people. If a job he does for you goes south, he may well do to you what he did to me. He thought I was a patsy, but I am not. I gave him no reason to single me out whatsoever, which is scary. I happened to be too inconvenient for him, is what I think. This review will be changed to NEUTRAL (I cannot ever give a glowing review as it would be a total lie if I did that even if he corrects this) if he finally wakes up and does what he should done all along, but this very negative review at this point is probably one of the most justified negative reviews of any company on this website for all that I have been through and all that I have the ability to prove. Jay was always prompt with his service and very courteous. His prices were very competitive and the work was done quickly and cleanly. Also, he followed up with us the next day to make sure we were happy and gave us some pointers on maintaining the new driveway.

The bid for the job was competitive. The driveway was installed at the scheduled time. They did a good job of cleaning up when they were finished. The employees worked hard from beginning to end. Communication before, during and after the job was very good.

Jay is the owner and is very reliable. He completed the job on time and his workers did a terrific job.
