They were helpful and jumped in quickly to pick up the slack from another company that was being shady. Drain solvers has better prices and quick to help!

Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, please take a minutes and check out all of their reviews and DO NOT BE A VICTIM LIKE ME. They get an "F" rating with Better Business Bureau, call BBB at 303-758-2100 or log on their website and read all of their customers? complaints. Take your times and get two or three quotes from other companies, I am sure by then you will NOT want to deal with this company because their crews are incompetent and they would blame the problems on you for tempering or messing with the parts. As a widow, I don't know anything about pluming and why should I do that when I have three years warranty? The total charges was $1,113,00.00 for them to replace a tub drain stop in one bathroom and install a new shower head, spout, cartridges, handle and plate in the second one. I showed the bill to two other companies, they told me I was over charged for the job. I called Cheryl to ask for a list of charges, she refused to provide me one. BEWARE OF THEIR PROMISES: Bob who is the manager is very rude, arrogant, he would scream, yelling and hung up on you to scare you off and hoping that you would giving up and forget about the problems. Cheryl who is the office Manager did not keep her promise to send some one out to fix the faucet which they installed and it still has THREE YEARS WARRANTY. STORIES: Anthony and Kodiak came to fix and install faucets in my two bathrooms. The next day, when I released the water from my bathtub, it flooded my whole ceiling. Andrew and Kodiak came back to fix it but they said it was not part of what they did. I never had a flood until they worked on my bathroom! Their Manager promise to fix my ceiling but then they changed their mind later. Then came the second flood and again, they blamed on other factors. THINGS TO AVOID: Do not allow them to take a look at your home so they can suggest ways to improve your systems; it is just a way for them to talk you into a more expensive package! They will use scare tactics to talk you into it especially if you are a woman or widow! THEIR THREE YEARS WARRANTY MEANS NOTHING IF THEY DON'T COME BACK TO FIX THE PROBLEMS. I went through my home owner insurance but the deductible was $1,000.00. I also went through DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) but they don?t deal with this type of situation! BBB already gave them a ?F?.

We had an unpleasant experience with Drain Solvers in Longmont overcharging us by 3x over the normal price for the water line repair to the ice maker. At least that is what I have been since told. The old plastic tubing cracked and disengaged from the unit on the back of the refrig. Three other plumbers looked at the job (after the fact) because they were here for other plumbing work such as installing a kitchen faucet, disposal and full repair of shower faucets going into the wall. In addition my son-in-law, insurance adjuster and insurance agent all concurred we were overcharged. The consensus was that a $350 charge was more in line with the work that was done. We were and quot;creditedand quot; $89 right off the top the day the work was done even before the invoice was reviewed by us (that was odd) and after I called to complain a nice young man credited another $89 a few weeks later when I tried to get more compensation. Although the $178 credit was appreciated it didn't come close to the $722 we felt we should have been reimbursed. The receptionist is polite on the phone yet the and quot;ownerand quot; never called me back to continue working on a fair resolution. The consensus was Drain Solvers gouged a Senior citizen and didn't step up to the plate to make it right.I was not at home when the leak occurred and my husband who is not and quot;consumer savvyand quot; called the first number he could find, Drain Solvers. By the time I returned home the work was done. The $983 price floored me even though I don't know specifically about plumbing prices. The plumber said it was that high and quot;because he had to take an hour to find the valve and cut two holes in our ceiling below the leak to find it.and quot; He put in new copper tubing and attached it to the same unit on the back of the refrig. He left without turning the valve back on for the water to enter the line. I went to do it myself but didn't realize it required many turns vs a 180 degree turn to get the line open. We had to wait a two or three days for the plumber's supervisor to stop by and open the valve. The day of the repair the plumber said we had to pay it because my husband initialed the work to be done. In hindsight I wish I had held on payment until I spoke with the and quot;ownerand quot;. This has been a long process because I am the primary caretaker of our home and grandchildren. I didn't have a lot of free time to continue to call and follow up with the company. Finally, I did post a negative review on Yelp as suggested by my insurance agent with American Family. It was my first post ever. I then sent an e-mail to Drain Solvers using their contact information on their website and within the hour I got a call from Bob who claimed he's not the and quot;ownerand quot; but a stock holder. I'm a 68 year old Grandmother who has worked as a nurse and in customer service for a professional association my entire adult life. I have never been spoken to in the manner I was by Bob. Bob was the classic nightmare for a consumer as noted above. When I mentioned I had heard the plumber and the plumber's supervisor left Drain Solvers within a few days of doing my job, Bob said, and quot;Oh plumbers come and go, they always do.and quot; Even though he said Yelp was worthless and all they do is post just the negative reviews, he said if I'd remove my review from Yelp and give him the master plumbers license numbers, then he'd talk to me. Yelp is loaded with poor reviews including from a former employee of Drain Solvers, yet their website is full of glowing reviews. I thought that was curious. I said to Bob that wasn't necessary and I wanted to be fair and work together to get a resolution. In addition, if he was saying that then why couldn't he tell me what he would talk to me about if I did so? I was not going to send him the master plumbers license numbers! I told him that was not the issue. He hung up on me which verified the type of business he operates. At this point, although it'd be nice to have some compensation, my point of sending Angie's List this information is to protect other consumers from a time and energy consuming, costly, and miserable experience. Sincerely, Kathleen Hauge (303) 590-148

My section of pipe was replaced snaked but the rest of the problem was never fixed which was a clog of roots in my pipe outside the house.  Another plumber had to come finish the job for a lot less money.

This was the second sewer blockage our building had in 3 months.  We used a different provider (Precision) to clear the first blockage, but they couldn't provide root case of the problem - said it was an "unknown blockage" since they didn't use a camera in the sewer.  They also charged us $100 more than this time!!  This time we called Drain Solvers and it was after hours (9pm).   They came out within an hour, gave an estimate (which they met) and spent time answering questions and showing us what they saw via the camera. Problem turned out to be a disjointed old pipe leading out of our building to the main.  The HOA will have to dig it up and replace the segment.  We're very glad to know this is the root case and now have confidence this won't happen again once the disjointed pipe issue is fixed!

Since they had to remove my toilet to snake the line (no access port in our building), they also pointed out that I had an issue with my toilet flange (rusted out bolt) which they gave me two estimates to fix as well (temp fix estimate involving replacement flange, and total fix involving a better fix).

I'm adding Drain Solvers to my address book!

They were efficient, fast, and professional. I think the final price was fair, but I did have an issue with how it increased during the duration of their work. I felt they could have been more upfront and transparent in that respect.

Technician arrived at the very beginnin of his window.  Office assistant said we would get a 20 minutes warning phone call before he arrived.  This phone call did not occur so last minute scrambling to put dogs outside, etc needed to happen.

Other than that, work was performed and verified.  Payment was made and technician was on his way.  Overall, service was good.

Drain solvers came in to investigate a clogged main sewer line. I was having my basement floor drain back up routinely, to the point where you could only flush the toilet every 45 minutes in the house. Just a month earlier I had hired another company to come out and clean the main sewer line, so i was afraid it was something more serious. Drain solvers came in and scoped the line, found the blockage, and then proceeded to clean it out properly. Antonio (has since left the company) told me that the previous company slacked off and didn't use an extension when cleaning the line and left the last 10 feet filled with roots, which was causing the blockage.

I was told Antonio would be leading the pipe installation team. I was disappointed to not see him at all during the work day. They worked quickly and managed to get the entire thing installed within the day. If the story were to end here, they'd probably end up with a "B" or an "A" rating.

A few months later as I'm walking around my driveway I take a step, and fall through the surface of the dirt, up to my knees. What the h***? I poked around but it just looked like a big underground hole. I backfilled it with dirt and didn't think much else of it. More recently I took a peek at the same area and found the entire area had eroded. I basically had a sinkhole forming underneath my driveway where they had installed the pipe. I call up Drain Solvers to come look at this issue and correct it.

Manny and Jacob come over 3 days later, look at the issue, and then tell me it's not their issue. What a load of bull. They claim it's due to water runoff and not their shoddy installation. Funny enough, this is the only location on my property that has this issue. Nothing else has changed except for them installing a pipe in this location. They refuse to take any responsibility or offer any help regarding this blunder. A sink hole under your driveway isn't safe... seriously.

I've included links to the photos of the problem.

It went well.  They were working under adverse weather conditions.  They make a restriction that they are not responsible for landscaping, and they mean it.  They are coming back to redo a sprinkler that they replaced too high.  I felt the price was a little on the high-side.  They were very conscientious and professional.  They buried the outside access so it blends right into the rock area, which is a plus. The sprinkler head was sticking out too high, they tried to fix it and I told him to just forget it that my husband would fix it. He was argumentative. The company continued to knock on the door to discuss further the issue. I refused to answer.  He then did fix the build up with the sprinkler, however we were not happy with everything we went through to get the work. They then were supposed to clean up which still to this day has not been taken care of.

Had to have Drain Solvers to clean out tree roots from my pipes. I should have called other companies but they had a AAA rating so I gave them a shot.  They wanted to charge me $289 but after I showed the tech a coupon from a competitor they reduced the fee to $189.  The tech was professional and friendly but the problem came back the next day.  I did some research and found that 4 other companies in the area only charge $79 for the same service that Drain Solvers wanted $289 for.  I then looked at the service receipt and found that the tech just wanted to up-sell me on a $400 service plus 1/2 price off the camera which would be another $500.  However, this service is offered for a total of $150 from another company.  I called Drain Solvers again to try to resolve this and spoke with a very nice woman who took down my information, she apologized.  I then spoke with the owner of the company who took great offense and called me a liar because, while yelling at me, I would not give him the name of the companies who offered lower rates.  I would have given him this information had he not yelled and screamed that the companies I spoke with were not professional.  I assured him they were all licensed and bonded plumbers, but that didn't matter to him anymore.  He just continued to yell at me that the companies I spoke with were unlicensed amateurs.   In his eyes I was no longer a customer, I was a "one-off" and he just didn't care.  If you're in need of a plumber I urge you to do your research and call around.  You'll not only find better service but you'll find said service for a fraction of the price charged by Drain Solvers.  I don't understand how anyone who owns a business could ever speak to a customer the way he spoke to me.  I have also called AAA because they list Drain Solvers on their web site and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I called another company who came right out, found several more areas of tree roots and removed them.  They left me with a bill for $79 and even gave me video evidence of Drain Solvers incompetence.

We though that we were going to get a plumber, but the person who came out and did the work was a sales representative. There were some bumps in the basement floor due to water seeping up. We had called a bunch of places and they just had the best explanation as to what might be causing it. They dug up two sump pumps that are outside the house. I have never heard of this before. We have a spring pipe under the floor and he ran a scope through there. Then he found some leaks in the drain under the floor and said that if we use them he wouldn't charge me for digging up the two sump pumps and the scope work. They were professional as far as doing the work is concerned and they did a good job. They made a mess in the basement but cleaned it up as best as they could. They were very courteous and gave me a few price breaks on a couple of things.

They did a good job in resolving the discrepancy that I had with them. I felt that they had done some work that was unnecessary. They ended up taking it off the bill. The work was fine overall. They agreed upon what was needed to be done before anything was done. Their price was little high. I probably wouldn't use them in the future.

Summary: Superlative service experience from Kelly Oakes - reasonable price and the service tech was very patient with all of our questions. Highest recommendation. Part of our basement flooded with sewage due a failed part in our ejector pump. Drain Solvers were able to help us same day and sent a plumber and his apprentice in a timely manner. They normally charge $69 for a visit plus $89 for a diagnostic fee (which seems excessive, but they waived the $69 service fee after we mentioned Angie's List). The work was $269. They also accepted the coupon from Angie's List. The whole process (including their run to a parts depot for a supplies) took over four hours.

I would recommend them. I didn't know what questions to ask or what options I had. They did a good job, and I would use them again. I just think I should have been better prepared. I had a sink that had just a slow drip, and their recommendation was to replace the whole thing. I wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do or not.

Perfect job! We had another company clear the sewer backup. They put a camera down the pipe and found several breaks. The clay pipe had shifted over 50% and was causing problems. 1st company quoted $6500 to fix but would excavate the entire line. I searched on Angie's list and found Drain Solvers. They do pipe bursting where they feed a pipe through the existing location with less damage to landscaping. They came out and ran a camera, quoted $8500 for the job. I was able to get them to match the previous bid. A week later they were out with their machines. Took most of a day, and they were done. They cleaned up behind them and our new sewer is in! Thanks Drain Solvers!

Called and they sent a plumber out right away. He gave me an estimate for the cost to have all of the services completed and then asked if I was ready to have them done right now. I took over the cost and compared to other rates I received. They were in the ball park and were able to start right away. Had him do all three jobs and he completed them within 6 hours.
