DRAIN-AWAY

Had a sewer line clogged up on a rental property and had a national chain sewer repair service come out and tell me they hit dirt when cleaning the line. They'd need to get a truck with a camera to come back after the Fourth of July weekend to determine the issue.The tenant would be unable to live in the house for 4 days. I called Drain-Away based on reviews on Angies list.The owner answered and had a plumber onsite within the hour. 45 minutes later he had the sewer line free and clear of the tree roots and the clog cleared. The plumber was very knowledgeable and professional. I'll definitely use them again. Thanks Rex

Very honest businessman, pleasant to deal with, took extra care with protecting branches of large tree to prevent damage from equipment,  Cost was definitely  less than  2  large companies who bid on same work.    Provided helpful information.  I will definitely contact Drainaway if I encounter sewer issues in the future and would recommend him to others.

My main line was running slow.  Not backed up completely, but really slow.  I have been dealing with this issue for a few years and could usually take care of it on my own.  Not this day!  My 25' snake did not find anything and two bottle of foaming drain cleaner (used at separate times) didn't either.  My entire house drains were unusable, so I had to call someone, the first place I called did not do the work, but recommended Drain Away.  I looked them up on Angie's List too and called them.  Rex told me he would send someone right over.  James was here in less than 15 minutes!  I told him what I was dealing with and what I had done.  He told me how much it would be and then he got to work.  He was very polite and nice.  He set up to minimize the mess but warned me that we were dealing with moving/spinning equipment and water.  He got to work and the roots were tougher than expected.  It took him a little longer than planned, but he stuck to the original rate.  We talked about them coming back and suggested a yearly maintenance plan.  He was not pushing or in a sales mode.  He cleaned up pretty well, I would give it a B.  However, given that he went over time and stuck with the quote, I can live with it.  I will mostly likely call them in a year to maintain the drain.  i would call them again if I had an issue and would recommend them.

I have used Rex's company for 10+ years to clear drains at a rental property and add clean outs and also to partially replace the sewer line from my house to the street.  I have always found him and his employees to be very professional.  He is also very honest and won't tell you to dig up and replace a line unless it is necessary.

They arrived quickly, did the job and charged less than other companies.

Service person did an OK job on the main drain but failed to put the washing machine discharge hose back in the drain. This flooded my crawl space. When I talked to Rex, the owner of the company, he claimed that his employee never touched it and wasn't responsible. The employee had to move the washing machine to access the crawl space hatch. Rex just wanted to argue with me that it wasn't his responsibility. He also promised me a set price if I used Drain Away exclusively and then never followed through on that price. Rex is hard to deal with and somewhat of a hot head. I wasn't even asking for anything; I just wanted him to acknowledge that his employee made a big mess and he refused. I haven't used Drain Away since.

He does a great job and I really like him. He is a very honest guy and I?ve recommended him to a bunch of people.

James showed up on time at 4pm and had the obstruction cleared within 40 minutes. He was very friendly and professional.
