Ed Goebel seemed very knowledgeable in this line of work and I was very pleased with the work and the clean-up.

The work itself went fast, they pruned the trees and cleaned up everything in about 2.5 hours. The time between Ed making an estimate and actually coming to do the work was a bit trying. My wife loved talking to him about our trees and he gave is a written estimate via email a few days after his visit.  We sent in our signed copy of the contract to Ed, but did not hear if he received it or when he could come out. Then he called three weeks later out of the blue and said that he was coming the next day, but never showed. Finally he left a message on our phone asking if we could text him. That seems to be the most reliable way to contact him, because he did respond promptly to my text inquiries. Finally after six weeks of waiting, Ed did make it with his crew and did a wonderful job.

They came, trimmed the trees, ended up getting other jobs on my street.  They did a good job trimming the trees and they cleaned up well after themselves.  I appreciated that.

A representative of Augustine Trees, Inc. answered my e-mail request promptly, and came to my house to make a free estimate of the pruning I needed done.  He was a licensed arborist, and actually suggested that I pospone pruning one of the trees I thought needed it.  He pointed out two unhealthy trees and referred two companies who could treat them.  He also gave me advise on watering one tree which was not a native of this area.  I agreed to the estimate, and hired him. He and a helper arrived at a preset time, and pruned three trees.  I am very pleased with the job they did.  They carried away all the debre, and the trees look great.  I would gladly recommend them, and hire them again when needed. 

Went great, Ed was a great guy to meet and do business with. We refer him to all of our friends who have tree or larger garden projects.
