Very well. He knew immediately what was wrong and was able to fix it immediately.

Once the new door was installed and the missing pieces were delivered and installed we encountered some minor adjustment issues. These were fixed and the door and opener have been working together great.

At work I received a call from my wife telling me that our garage door wouldn't open. She said that when it closed the last time she heard a loud bang.  It was about 4 pm.  I consulted Angie's List for providers close to home.  I found three that were rated highly.  One couldn't service the door for several days but recommended two others in the area (actually the other two that Angie's list rated highly). I couldn't get through to one of them and the other (Don Zeidler) answered my call immediately and offered to come by the house in next hour.  According to my wife, Don showed up, was very nice, confirmed that the spring was broken and needed to be replaced, that it would cost $200 in parts and labor, and that he was available at 7 am the next morning to complete the work.  We accepted the terms of his offer.  Don showed up at 7:10 am the next morning with a colleague, completed the work in approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  They not only replaced the spring but lubricated everything and tightened nuts as needed.  The door has never worked so well and so quietly.  Don and his associate, Dan, were courteous and delightful.  Don had two new garage doors loaded on his truck that he was installing later in the day.  So, in order to accommodate our need to get the door fixed promptly, he clearly added us to the beginning of his day.  We appreciated the prompt, courteous and competent service.

We had used Advanced Garage Door to repair a broken garage door spring and were very pleased with the service.  Our garage door was quite old, perhaps the original door installed in the 70s.  So when we decided to install a new door, I called Don to get an estimate. He explained all of the options and was able to give me pricing on the alternatives.  We might have been able to get a lower price, I'm not sure, but I believe that Don's estimate was in the ballpark and I trusted his work.   When we made our decision, I called Don who said he needed to order this particular door from the manufacturers which would take two week.  This was late November.  I told him that I wanted it installed by the end of the year.  He said no problem  When approximately two weeks had gone by, I called and left a message for Don who called back promptly telling me the door was in and he could install it in three days.  He arrive on time on the day scheduled and installed in about two hours, perhaps a little more.  My wife was thrilled, as I was when I returned home from work and saw the final product.  The price actually came in a little less than the estimate.  We are very happy.

We called and set up appointment. Service tech came by and said he would order a part to fix the door. A week later ,we called him as we had not heard anything. He did not recognize us but then said the part would be in that day, and to call him tomorrow to install. We called to set up install and he did not show up. No call for 2 days. We hired another company

The technician showed up on time and did a great job. I called late one night and the very next morning he showed up on time ready to go. No hassles.

The technician was available and arrived promptly on a Saturday morning, only about 90 minutes after I called.  He completed the work quickly and correctly the first time, and the garage door worked correctly immediately.

He was out of here in about 20 minutes. He was fine and he was good. I haven't had a bit of trouble with it since. He did what I wanted and no more. I don't know if I was overcharged.
