24-7 Restoration

The technicians for 24/7 were outstanding. We had never experienced water damage before and they responded within a couple hours. They took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done. There was extensive water damage due to a toilet tank overflowing in the basement. The water was clean however the mildew/must odor was horrendous. They quickly assessed the situation and before they got started they explained how the process works for them and with our insurance. Steve and his crew were polite, friendly, and professional. All of my interactions with the employees were positive. I was going to purchase an Angie's list deal and the Manager advised that he would save me more money by lowering my deductible. Our cost out of pocket was around $800 after the insurance paid the claim. Our finished basement is put back together again and I feel that our entire experience was great. Hopefully I will never need their services again, but if I do I will call them immediately.Thank you, Audrey and Jason DiManna

I joined Angie's List at 5 am after disaster hit in order to find plumber and restoration help. 
24-7 was the first company to respond to flooding that happened overnight due to break in flex tubing under kitchen sink. By time we discovered flooding the water was over entire kitchen and also was through flooring and light fixtures/ceiling in basement and damage was done. 24-7 spent 8 days with drying equipment/dehumidifiers etc. in Kitchen area on hardwood floors drying them out.  This was extremely successful as they got there right away and went right to work.  Very responsive team. Liked all of the team that were involved.  Adjusted pads and equipment and checked every day for level of moisture still in wood etc.
 Basement did not take as long to dry out but involved MAJOR hauling and cutting away of ceiling, drywall, insulation, rug as well as drying with fans and dehumidifiers.  Lots of work involved, they used the egress window to haul away tons of heavy wet insulation we had in our ceiling and in all our walls. They did not take it out through the house and if there was any mess they cleaned it up.  
 I cannot comment in depth on the pricing but because this was an emergency and disaster, I feel it was worth it to have a team that came out immediately (they were there by 9 am the morning I called).  You don't really have time to "shop around" on pricing when you are in this situation and to get estimates when they arrive to help!  I would highly recommend this company and all its employees. Very good at explaining what they were doing, showing me the measurements they were taking each day regarding moisture content in the wood.  Because of the prompt response and thorough job we will only have to have the floors refinished, and I think ONE board replaced.

Every person from 24-7 was very professional and polite.  They explained everything they did and cleaned up after they worked.  I could not have been more pleased.  Hopefully we will never need them again, but I would call them if we did.

The 24-7 crew was great, in particular Erick Halverson. They worked late hours and on Christmas to ensure everything was done properly and aligned with our insurance company. They were always available to answer questions, give advice, and generally help out during a rough time. Highly recommended. 

Water pipe broke at 10AM on Easter Sunday, flooding a wall and part of our downstairs.  I called 24-7 expecting I would have to wait until Monday morning for any response (it was a holiday afterall), but my call was answered and within three hours a crew was at our house (the reason it took three hours is that they were at another call).  They came in and took charge of the situation, providing us options and all the details so we could make informed decisions. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. After they had cleaned up the water, they set up fans and dehumidifiers. They told us exactly what  they were doing and why.  For the next three days they would come by the house to check the status. At one point, a customer service rep even stopped by to make sure everything was going well. They handled all the insurance work once we had filed the claim making it very easy on us. We found all of the employees to be very professional, courteous, and thorough in their work.   Overall, we are very impressed by 24-7 and would trust them with any future disasters. 

The hot water heater in our rental home failed in the middle of the night. My tenant called me at 5 a.m. to tell me that the finished basement was a bit flooded and was concerned about the carpet becoming damaged.  I called 24 /7 at 5:30 am to leave a message but the call was picked up by a real person!  by 6:45 a.m. the truck and 3 professional gentleman were there to take care of the flooding, assess the damages, and start the repair process.  they took care of it all very quickly, coordinated all  repair work, and reviewed the work thoroughly throughout the entire process.  Billing and working with my insurance company was seamless as well.

They were very strong at overselling. They didn’t do a good job. They didn’t clean and dry my carpet like they were supposed to do. They said did work that they did not do and charged my insurance company for.
