As with most builders, Chuck H was all "can-do" at the out set, and indeed things got done on time despite some hurdles. However as time passed, we began to learn that they had used the cheapest materials they could get away with, and in some cases didn't do what was promised. The house was supposed to be wired for cable - it isn't. The roofing sub-contractor did a terrible job and 10 years later we're still dealing with roof leaks. The painter's quality was terrible and when we asked Chuck about that, he shrugged and said that's what you get when you hire the cheapest guy. We paid Chuck 100,000's of thousands of dollars, and he made all the hiring decisions, so that made no sense! A majority of the bathroom tile cracked because the substrate was too thin and had to be replaced. At least WBC did that repair work without complaint. Jason W with WBC seems like a good guy. Maybe he should be in his own. We would not recommend using WBC (even with Jason).
