U-Haul Moving & Storage - Highlands Ranch

Should have taken a hint from previous reviews. Mark (the guy I was told is in charge) is all but incompetent and the least bit helpful. His response to hearing that it was two hours after my appointment time and my car remained parked was "ok." I watched at least two people in line turn around and walk out as the cashier seemed frazzled and overwhelmed handling routine tasks. If I had to guess, the place remains open because people just don't have other options and would rather not go through the hassle of rescheduling elsewhere. Word to the wise - drop your car off in the morning and clear your schedule for the day because there's no telling when the work will be done. According to Mark, everyone (but me) is told that upon arrival... After waiting for over 2 hours and being told my car was next, I sat around to watch another car get pulled into the bay. Doing rough math and having been lied to at least twice, I couldn't afford to hope they got the car done before closing. The last thing I wanted was a rush job. Employees on site are nice enough but seem unorganized and understaffed. Showed up for my appointment time and was told they still had two appointments to get to. No call, no heads up before arrival. Gentleman on site said the "call center" has been overbooking them regularly for the last month +. I did make one poor assumption thinking drop off (without an option to wait) was due to COVID but instead it seems like it serves to enable poor scheduling. A few suggestions - (for potential customers) - call before getting in your car to get a refined appointment time / (for the person / group that can impact change at this uHaul) - make the scheduling first come, first serve, OR provide less / broader blocks of time to accommodate workload without putting paying customers out OR reach out to those with appointments to let them know about possible delays or changes to scheduling.

Their customer service was great. I received an email from them right after the phone call confirming everything. We will be using them in August.

I pre-arranged a truck rental at the U Haul in Highlands Ranch Colorado. I arrived a bit early, and stopped near the front door. An employee came over to my car and rather rudely and abruptly said; " This is not a parking place, you can't park here."  I was merely trying to quickly get my truck and move both it and my car along on my moving task.  Management here needs to train their employees on how to treat their customers with respect.  A simple "Are you here to pick up equipment? Would you mind moving, as you are blocking..." would have made this a much more pleasant experience. Instead, I started off with a negative attitude toward this office and U Haul in general.

They were reasonable.  In fact, we used their referral service for the guys that can help move.  We used that service and it was awesome.  They are economical.   They have boxes and packing material available.  They have a lot of other services and supplies.  It is like a one-stop shopping.  We had to wait a little bit, but that was because of the truck.

THE PERSONAL AT THE U HAUL PLACE WERE VERY NICE. WE LIKED THE IDEA THAT WE COULD KEEP THE TRUCK UNTIL WE WERE ALL DONE WITH THE MOVE. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
