T D B CONCRETE INC

The quality of the work was very high. I had trouble pinning TDB down on a date as he was shuffleing many jobs. I had other estimates of $1,600, $1,650 and $1,700 but went with TDB because they seemed the most qualified. We agreed on a price of $2,836 but when the bill came 2 weeks later Todd had tacked on a $150 "Short load fee". His contract DOES specify that if his costs go up my costs may as well. I believe that, at almost twice the cost of other bids, the original (agreed upon) amount should have been sufficient to buffer any "additional" costs. If I had it to do over again I would have continued looking for a good concrete company. To his credit, Todd left us a 1 sq. ft. concrete sample 2" thick. I didn't know at the time I'd be paying for it.
