Simply Grand Cleaning

I purchased a VOICE Daily Deal (like a Groupon) for a $45 whole house green cleaning - valued at $120. The job performed was definitely not even worth the $45. My husband and I purchased our first home and wanted it cleaned prior to moving in so I scheduled the cleaning for 2 days after our closing. There was no furniture or personal items in the house so I specified that I wanted the floors cleaned, cabinets and drawers cleaned, window sills and baseboards done, as well as the bathrooms - specifically the 2 toilets, tub and shower. I specifically requested these things when making the appointment on the phone. They assured me it would be no problem and they'd do a great job since there were no personal items in the home.The 2 cleaners arrived on time, I let them in and they were suprrised to learn there was nothing in the home. Apparently what I said on the phone was not relayed to the people actually cleaning the home. I told them I wanted the home cleaned prior to us moving in and went over the items to be cleaned then left for work. I returned later in the evening to find that the wood floors were cleaned in *most* places (not all). The sinks were cleaned. One of the bedrooms was vacuumed (there are 2 carpeted). The other carpeted room was not vacuumed (or if it was, there was still debris on the carpet). Not a single cabinet was cleaned as I could still write my name in the dust. The baseboards weren't touched. The window sills weren't touched. The toilets were cleaned but the tub and shower weren't touched.I would never use this company again. I would've called and asked them to re-clean but I was moving in the next day and didn't have the time to do so. What a waste of time and money!!

I purchased the Voice Daily Deal for a housekeeping service. The deal was for a $120-valued clean and it specified that they clean baseboards, windows, etc. so therefore, I bought it. However, I found out that the deal didn't cover these items, even though it was advertised as such. There were two young people that arrived to clean my house, not Irma. It was a move out clean so it needed to be done well the first time, which I stated in my call to set up the appointment. Irma stated that since I didn't have any furniture that they would do a little more than a basic clean (to clean the oven). When I came back to let the carpet cleaners in, I inspected the place and the bathrooms were the part of the house that was done the best. The oven did get cleaned as well. The baseboards were not done throughout the house, the windows did not get cleaned, and the hardwood floor wasn't even cleaned all the way. The carpets were not cleaned at all, but I think that was because I had a carpet cleaning service coming afterwards. We spent an additional 2 hours cleaning the house so that it was acceptable to receive the security deposit back. I was hesitant to buy the deal, but the previous reviews on other websites were mostly positive so I thought it would be fine. This definitely was not a $120 worth cleaning job and I do not think that they should be a part of daily deals that they are not willing to do the job correctly for. Unfortunately, I will not use this company again.
