 + 2 moreI love my home. The company worked with me to go over the things I could pick out. The specs were already in place but I liked the way it was set up. They even put a desk in the office for free. I was very satisfied.
Description of Work: I bought my home from Shea Homes for $300,000. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with a 2 car garage. They have done some repairs as part of the warranty, including resealing a floor in my bathroom, fixing a hallway cabinet and re-concreting my front patio.

 + -1 moreOVERALL, IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE ONSITE SALES PEOPLE WERE PATIENT AND FRIENDLY. SEEMED WILLING TO WORK WITH ME TO ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL DESIRES/PREFERENCES. I WAS A FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER AND VERY NERVOUS, BUT THEY HELPED ME FEEL AT EASE BY ANSWERING ALL OF MY MANY QUESTIONS PATIENTLY. THEY ALSO APPEARED WILLING TO HELP ME GET THE BEST FINANCIAL DEAL, ALTHOUGH I BELIEVE THIS IS PARTIALLY BECAUSE MY MOM IS A REALTOR WHO HAD ALREADY SOLD SEVERAL HIGHLAND WALK PROPERTIES AND THEY WANTED TO KEEP HER HAPPY SO SHE WOULD KEEP BRINGING THEM BUSINESS. I DO FEEL, HOWEVER, THAT THEY ARE SLIGHTLY OVERPRICED. AS WELL, IT WOULD BE NICE NOT TO TIE THE INCENTIVES INTO USING A LENDER WHO PURPOSELY CHARGES MORE THAN THE GOING COMPETITIVE INTEREST RATE.
Description of Work: I PURCHASED A NEW CONDOMINIUM-STYLE TOWNHOME IN THE HIGHLAND WALK SUBDIVISION.

 + -1 moreWE HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THAT SHAE HOMES HAVEN GIVEN US. AFTER WE MOVED IN THEY HAVE BEEN VERY PROMPT ON ANY REPAIRS THAT WE HAVE ASKED THEM TO DO. THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT WE HAVE HAD HAS BEEN THE GRATING AROUND THE HOUSE WAS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED, THEREFORE CAUSING DRAINAGE PROBLEMS. THEY ARE WORKING ON THIS PROBLEM RIGHT NOW.
Description of Work: BOUGHT A NEW HOME FROM SHEA HOME. IT IS THE WATERFALL COLLECTION IN FIRELIGHT IN HIGHLANDS RANCH. IT WAS CUSTOMED BUILT FOR US.
