For three months, the electricity has been out in the units at this location, including some of the exterior lighting. Since we never expected to have to retrieve belongings at night holding flashlights in our mouths, the sun sets at 5:30 p.m. in winter, and there has not always been enough light to safely navigate the ice on the ground outside, I called the site's District Manager, its Regional Manager, the company's headquarters in California, and its Customer Service number. Corporate headquarters and Customer Service helped as I had hoped they would, but neither manager has returned my call days later. I had asked to be able to discuss a partial refund, since as of January 1 this year no electrical repairs had even been approved for this location. I did not demand a full refund.

We never had a problem with mice or any other critters. The staff was very polite and friendly. If we hadn't paid by the end of the grace period they would call, as a reminder, so that we didn't incur a late fee.
