PREMIERE PLUMBING CONTRACTORS

I would have probably done this myself but I was dealing with a bout of
the flu.  I found a slight leak in a water line by a water heater in our
condo.  I had seen Premiere at a home show and being new to the area I
called them.  I wasn't an Angie's List member at the time and it cost
me.
The workman arrived punctually and gave me an estimate.  Not
having the work done would have cost me $75.  It was expensive but I was
not feeling up to the task of fixing the leak myself.  I should have watched more closely how he was doing the plumbing but
again, I was under the weather.  He also recommended a surge tank and
told me he would give me a special break on the price.
He fixed the leak but in the process he crammed the water heater so close to the wall that I had to bend the handle of the
shut off to be able to turn the water supply on and off.  Alternatively I believe he should have taken a look at the whole thing and reoriented the plumbing so the water heater wasn't so tight in the space.  It would have probably taken him a half hour more. 
In the end I figure I paid the guy at least two hundred dollars per hour for a few materials to make up the $800 total.  Premier seems to be a lot of hype with their marketing approach.  For years I was involved in the construction
trades and I know good, reasonably priced work when I see it.  This was definitely not that.
I filled out an evaluation for Premiere but heard nothing from them.  Most likely in the near future I will revisit
the job, clearing some more room for the water heater like a professional would to have a workmanship like job.
