Procurement of materials proceeded acceptably and without problem. Installation of flooring on steps was initiated on first day of project. The fit of flooring on the steps after the first day was very poor and I discontinued the installation of the flooring by the contractor at that time. I then had to remove the majority of the flooring that the contractor had installed and redo it and then proceed with completing the installation for the rest of the stairs and the hallway myself.

"This Gentleman didn't let me finish the job, I only did a little bit of the work on the steps, what work I did do needed to filled with wood filler to finish it, the whole time that I was there at the house the wife said everything looked fine, I explained to her what needed to be done to finish the job, she had no problems with the work. Later that night I received a call to come get my tools, the gentleman was very rude about it and when I tried to tell him about the filler to make it right, he said that he would finish the job !!!!!! You just can't please everyone all the time...."

Doug was responsive(came to bid the project the same day I called him)was able to schedule the work soon after, gave us a great price, and completed the work sooner than he estimated.

They were very punctual and got started very quickly after the estimate was finished, I think it was within the week. They were very professional. They helped move all the furniture and best of all, kept the dust to a minimum, which is key when doing flooring.

Doug did a great job, was refreshingly honest, and communicated well. He was prompt, came when he said he was coming, and followed-up as promised. his rates were very reasonable. I'm planning on using him for more work. I highly recommend.

Doug is very polite, professional, and punctual. He is experienced and good at his work. It only took half a day to install all the floors.
