N-HANCE WOOD RENEWAL

The two men showed up on time on a Tuesday. They started doing the work of repainting the cabinet doors and drawers. On Friday, I was told to be back at 2:30 because they would be finished and wanted to be paid. I left work early, came home but it wasn't done. One of the workers left early and the other one stayed until 8:00 PM but the job was not completed. The worker took my pantry doors and said that he would be painting them over the weekend and would need to be at the house for about 15 minutes on Monday to just do the install. I noticed some spots that were missed and asked for some touch-up paint that I used to do quite a few touch-up spots over the weekend. On Monday both workers showed up but had not stained the doors as I was told would be done. When the doors were finally completed they looked terrible. I don't believe they waited long enough between coats of paint for each layer to dry properly. I pointed out runs in the paint, places that were missed and a large scratch that one worked dabbed paint into which made it look worse. One of the workers was visable upset and left in a huff. I asked for the owner, Andy, who told me he would be doing the work and who never even showed up at all during the job, to come out and fix the problems. After a bit of a run around, Andy was able to show up. I showed Andy many missed spots and the runs in the paint, paint on the glass in the doors that had glass, etc. There was a small chip in the wood at my desk that I showed to Andy along with his online ad that said they would fix problems and make the cabinets look new.Andy was so rude and said to me "How would you have wanted me to do that"? I said that I didn't know because I am not an expert but suggested using a little plastic wood. Andy scoffed at my suggestion. I then dicided I just wanted him out of my house even though there were still many missed spots and chips. I paid him the last $1,000.00 I owed and decided I would rather hire another company to come out and correct Andy's mess. This summer I have been remodeling, new patio double doors, large cement patio covered in stone, granite kitchen counter tops, new bathroom (main), wood floors on the whole main level, new bathroom sinks (4) and granite countertops (2), etc. I have been able to work well with everyone and have been very pleased with the outcome - EXCEPT - N-Hance. I would recommed every single contractor I used except Andy. I would NEVER recommend N-Hance or Andy and would discourage anyone else from using his company.
