The experience at MAACO in Littleton during the repair of my car's rearend damage was exceptional. The staff was friendly and professional and delivered as promised, when promised, at every step of the process. They even took care of a door scratch, unrelated to the accident that damaged our bumper, per our request and didn't charge us for the work. The car came back washed and very clean inside. It was worth taking our car to this MAACO on Lakeland Dr. in Littleton, even though it was a long way from our home in northeast Denver. I highly recommend this shop.

Good: The price and time frame was good but it took an extra day longer than they quoted. The staff was nice and professional. Bad: The paint job isn't smooth. It looks like someone sanded down some, but not all, of the old paint so the roof has a bumpy look to it. Very disappointed in the quality of workmanship.

My 2000 Toyota Tundra has been a great truck for the last 12 years. Unfortunately the paint had begun to faded and deteriorate in spots and it just wasn't looking shape like it used to. I spent a lot of time looking at body shops and getting estimates, but they were all in the $6-7k range which I think is fairly ridiculous. Its not a show truck or custom job. I just want it to look good.
I heard about Maaco doing a good job from a friend which was at odds with what I heard in the past from other people. I checked the yelp board and the shop in Littleton had great reviews. Apparently the shops are franchises and quality is not uniform at them.
After a estimate which was (I thought) very reasonable ($2300) i dropped the truck off and waited to see how it would come back. The manager knew just what I wanted and was very helpful
The truck was doen a day early and looked great! no blemishes or runs. Shiny and new looking. I couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend this shop. They even painted my topper in the same price.

Maacco was fantastic. They ordered the part, painted it and installed within 3 days of our first contact. They did this for 2-300 dollars less than other estimates we got.

Maaco saved me about $500.  Other shops insisted on replacing the bumper with a new on when all it had was a few sctatches.

I am very pleased. Extremely professional and the work was completed on day earlier than promised. The color match - a tricky red metallic aged 8 years - is very good. They coordinated my rental. The entire process was seamless.

I got estimates from three body shops before choosing Maaco. I chose Maaco in part because of its high reviews on Angie's List. Initially the customer service was great. I had a fairly large repair (approximately $4,000) done through an insurance claim. I also asked them to fix a dent and some paint on the other side of the car (self pay) and they gave me a good deal on that work.

HOWEVER when the car was finished, I picked it up and stopped for gas. I happened to notice a strip of masking tape left on the rear quarter panel. I lifted the tape off and there was a rough spot in the paint. The paint came right up with my finger nail. I called Maaco back and told them what happened. They said to bring it back and they would fix it. I asked what happened and they didn't really have an explanation. I thought it was weird that they had no explanation for the problem and they didn't seem particularly concerned that I was upset. In fact one person said, "We paint 90 cars a week and this never happens." Well, I drive one car and it happened to MINE.

The messed up paint was fixed in record time, making me wonder if it was repaired properly. We had a fair amount of snow that day and I wasn't able to get up there to pick up my car. I was told to "get there as soon as possible so the insurance company didn't have to pay for another weekend. It makes them grumpy." Well, I was there YESTERDAY and my plan was to pick it up then. But I couldn't. And now I'm grumpy. (By the way, we live out a good ways and it's almost an hour to Maaco, so I drove up, halfway home, back up, back home - a total of about 3.5 hours, because of their mistake.)

But the best is yet to come. Two weeks after I picked up my car, i had a friend in the passenger seat and she couldn't get the door to open from the inside. The lock just flops around. I called Maaco and they claim they didn't open the panel of that door. There's also a wire sticking out of the mirror. My husband says that wire wasn't sticking out before and is certain they had the panel open. Maaco says they didn't. At this point I'm afraid to have them touch anything on my car so I'm going somewhere else to have the lock repaired.

I was never offered a discount for my time and frustration or even an explanation for their error. (I got a quick "must have been a chemical reaction" comment but... If it was a chemical reaction, what keeps that from happening to the entire sections they repainted?)

As soon as there was a problem, I wasn't important. I was an inconvenience and the customer service rep I originally worked with didn't even get off the phone to speak with me when I picked up the car - the second time. This was such a frustrating experience and it just didn't need to be. If they "paint 90 cars a week" I would have thought they'd be better at it.

Update: I have to take back "I'm afraid to have them touch anything." The window of the side with the bigger repair (new door shell, etc) now won't go all the way up. I have to them fix this problem because if I go somewhere else for EVERYTHING they messed up, I'll go broke. I'm starting to wonder if they did anything right.

Update: I took the car back to have three items fixed - the window now rolls all the way up; the passenger door can be opened from the inside; and the wire is now tucked back in its little home. They were very friendly and made the repairs quickly. I am happier now than I was, but this should have been a simple "drop off car - wait 5 or 7 days - pick up car" exercise, and instead took multiple trips and time away from work to get it fixed properly.

Upgraded the rating from F to D.

The service reps were very helpful and professional.  The work was done well and within the expected time period.  They not only provided a good paint job, but they did a thorough cleaning of the inside of our car---completely unexpected.  We were very pleased with the work done, the price, and the extra work provided.

I received two estimates for various level of paint jobs and guarantees, scheduled an appointment and dropped the car off.  The professionals at Maaco performed a great paint job and restored the door to its original color and condition.

Called on Monday afternoon.  Needed a more specific time frame (2:00 PM) due to previous committments.  No problem.  At 2:00 PM Tuesday, the phone rang saying Doyle was on his way and by 4:00 PM, the new windshield and gasket were in place and the old was taken away.  We live up in the foothills and are not easy to find so this is an amazingly responsive service.  We are happy with the result.

They gave me an estimate less expensive than the dealer. They placed the door handles and the handles work well and match the van.The employees were very professional and attentive. The work was done on time.

The price was ok.  My son bought a 3 year guarantee and I bought a 5 year guarantee for our paint jobs.  I had to take my car  back for them to repaint the top a couple weeks after it was done.  My son also took his car back to get it repainted.  They would not honor his guarantee and wanted to charge him for the work.  Paint is chipping off of my car and I'm not sure if it is worth contesting their shoddy work.  If someone wants their car painted well, I would suggest for them to go elsewhere.  The paint doesn't last like it should.
