Lagrange Electric LLC

The previous owners of my house did a lot of the electrical work on their own and did a horrible job. Many days, I wondered if something electric would go wrong. I asked for several different quotes and was told that everything would be in the thousands. This company was very professional, friendly, timely, and affordable. I was referred to LaGrange Electric by a close friend who had them work on his house. His electricity works great and was done beautifully. I was not disappointed at all with any of their work.

LaGrange was selected by our GC to rewire our house during an extensive remodel/addition.  The owner and main electrician were personable and responsive.  We believe that they did a good job on the work, however we were surprised when their invoice was 2x the estimate that we received from our GC.  GC blamed the electrician, electrician blamed GC/us for 'communication breakdown' regarding the pricing.  While we knew that some of our requests were more costly or increased the scope of their initial bid, we did not understand the extent of the increase until the work was performed and we received their invoice.  Overall, I would not sway you from using LaGrange but would strongly recommend that you get a detailed estimate prior to commencement of work and get updates for any changes to the scope of work to avoid any surprises when the invoice comes.

Byers beware. I had a terrible experience with LaGrange.  The week the company installed a new electrical panel there was electrical fire in the kitchen resulting in thousands of dollars worth of damage. LaGrange was not honest regarding their work completed in statements to the fire department/inspector. Company charged ridiculous fees for electrical permits for the garage and house.  I did not find the owner to be honest in his comments and promises. Please don't make the same mistake.

He was able to figure out the problem and fixed it right away.
