John answered my first call to him and we set up an appointment to meet the next Saturday. he no called/no showed and hasn't returned my voice mails or answered his phone since. no one is that busy. this is very unprofessional behavior.

In one word "EXCELLENT". After hiring a company called Cherrycreek Hardscapes (run by a guy named James Cosme) and having them disappear with all of money after doing two days of work, I started looking for help around June 2016. I stopped into Sante Fe Gravel & Stone and told them my story. They were quick to give me list of a few landscape companies who they do business with frequently. When I asked them who they thought was the best, they told me JTD Enterprises. Skeptical to commit to anyone at this point, I made sure to call every big name in the business (Mosaic, Landscape Connection, Thunderbird, and Daniel's). JTD was the first to come out and see my project, and the only landscape company who could meet with me on the weekend to do so. My backyard was completely trashed. I had 8 to 10 massive boulders (roughly 2,000 lbs each) along with about 20,000 of lbs of broken concrete which was never removed, exposed gas lines, 20,000 lbs of Siloam slab sitting in the street, and half finished patio that was not properly built. After having the "big 4" above come out and never hearing back from Thunderbird or Daniel's, I decided I had done enough research and would put my trust in JTD Enterprises. For once, I can truly say "I haven't been this happy with something or someone in quite some time". John Fennelly, owner and founder of JTD Enterprises, was a true professional from day one. He did what he said he would do, on time and on budget, and was in constant communication about the job, thoughts/ideas, etc. John stepped up for me when others wouldn't and got me out of a really bad situation. This was a massive project, yet they made it look like they could do this in their sleep. JTD showed up on the 1st day with about 8 people and did more work in a single day that Cherrycreek Hardscapes did in 6 months. They put in full days, with a full a crew, until completion. Throughout the entire process, John was checking in with us to make sure we were happy with the work and how things were coming together. 3 weeks later, my entire backyard was finished, better than I could have ever imagined. Never once did JTD ever come up with an excess, a way to cut a corner, or a price change. As a bit of perfectionist, there have been many times where I have found it easy to criticize the work of others, and found that I can typically do things better than the people I have hired. Not this time. JTD Enterprises took their time and created a masterpiece that I wouldn't have been able to build in a 1,000 years. Their work is of the utmost quality and is truly one of a kind. All of that aside, John Fennelly is a real person of sound character and has hired the same to work for him. They are extremely hard working men, who put forward more pride and ownership in their work than anyone I have ever seen. Furthermore, the crew from JTD was respectful to me and my wife, at all times. They were extremely clean and organized, and never once left a piece of garbage anywhere on the property or tried to cut corners. John is a family man, and someone who I now view as a friend in the business. I would highly recommend JTD Enterprises to anyone looking for work of the utmost quality, for a reasonable price, done by good people who are true professionals and masters of their craft.

We hired Jim Pike of PrestigeLandscapes to perform the landscaping. He introduced John Fennelly to us as his South Crew Chief, not as the owner of an independent landscape company. An estimate was provided and John did the work and spread it out inconveniently for us over a 5 day period while he often left to go to other jobs. At no time were we informed of a significant change in price from the estimate. The work was completed and John Fennelly told me to pay him since he did the work. He said he owned his own landscape company and the check was to be made payable to JTD Enterprises. The price came in approx. $2000 higher than the original bid. John Fennelly said he would do additional work for us at a discounted price. Long story short, he completed the work, charged too much again, and left with a double roll of fabric that I supplied for the job of installing new rock. John has not returned calls or emails over the last 3 1/2 weeks. Also, he has not fixed the 2 simple sprinkler issues that he knows are still a problem. John?s work was decent, but his pricing and overall lack of responsiveness and common courtesies of returning phone calls is unacceptable. I get the feeling that once the work was complete, he really has no interest in customer service or repeat business. Overall, we paid way too much for at best an adequate job that also caused us too much aggravation.
