JOHN NUTTALL PLUMBING LLC

I picked John's plumbing service because he lives in my neighborhood and has been in business for a long time. He was responsive when I called to have him come out to replace our sprinkler valve. He said he was busy but would come by in the evening. Needless to say he did not show up and I had to call him again to reschedule. Prior to coming to the rescheduled appointment he called to say he needed to reschedule again for later in the day. When he finally showed he was extremely personable but not very organized or timely in his work. I actually assisted him during the repair by turning off the water, fetching buckets, lending my shop vac, etc. In the end I was over charged for the labor and at $95 an hour he is on the expensive side. When I called him out on the number of hours he charged he became rather upset, which I think he was surprised at since I am a woman. I hate to think how much it would have cost if I didn't help him and he was frequently on the phone during the job which did not lend itself to the job getting done quickly. In the end he replaced the valve, but we clearly over paid.

We called John hoping he would be able to come out sometime this week as we could not use our washer. Instead he was able to come out the same day...a Sunday. We have used John's services before and not only does he fix the problem, he explains what happened and why, and how to prevent it in the future. He is very professional and is the only plumber we would use. We could not ask for more and will use him for our bathroom remodel as well.

We really like him. I would recommend him. He’s very honest and good guy. We completely trust him.

As soon as I figure out some of the new projects I want to do, John will be the first call I make (putting in a shower, maybe re-configuring lay-out in master).

I made a scheduled appointment w/ John about 2 weeks before. Then after waiting an hour past the time, I called and he said he thought it was the next day. He did come the following day. He is a very likable fellow and does good work. However, he is slow and conducted other business while on my job. He had some business man drive to my house and was outside talking about something for almost 30 minutes! Later, in the afternoon he was going to run another errand and didn't return for 3 hours! I was surprised with the cost but made the mistake of not requesting a WRITTEN estimate, in advance. I didn't get the impression that he's hungry for business but has more than he needs. His truck seemed disorganized and he made multiple trips back and forth to his truck whereas having a tool box to carry items, rather than just his hands, would have been more time efficient. I'm not sure I'll use him again.

JOHN NUTTALL IS VERY RESPONSIVE TO MY PLUMBING REQUESTS. HE SEEMS TO WORK SEVEN DAYS A WEEK AND IS VERY EASY TO REACH WHENEVER YOU NEED HIM. THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE MY NEEDS ARE ATTENDED TO PROMPTLY.
