He has always urged starting out with non-invasive techniques such as physical therapy, massage, etc--which I've done and they help with the day-to-day pain.  To curb the more intense pain that comes with doing anything more physical than sitting at my desk, I've been given cortisone injections and more recently have undergone radiofrequency neuronomy.  Dr. Peragine continues to show empathy and work with me to manage the pain the best I can.

I can understand there are people out there abusing meds, however, there are people, like myself, who are in serious daily pain.  This Dr. did not crack my file open once while my husband and I sat there.  I asked him to do that twice, primarily after he compared me to the woman who tested positive for the illegal substances-which I have never done in my entire life.  Another major DONT on a 1st appointment with a prospective new patient right?  He refused, he said he could tell just by talking to my previous dr.'s wife.  Sadly, that Dr. is now being investigated by both state and federal authorities. 
Dr. Peragine is too bullheaded to be considered a decent dr.  His beside manner is atrocious which is not going to kill anyone, but his stubborness could.  I wouldn't let him treat my goldfish.

He is a really neat guy.  He is very caring.  His staff is not as finely tuned as I wish it was.

They are fabulous and I love them. Their office staff does a really great job and they are very good at following up and tracking down or calling prescriptions. The doctor is great. He really takes time and you never feel like you are being rushed out of there. He really listens and tries to understand what is going on. I really like them but it is hard to get in.
