Matt provided the most educational and thorough inspection. This isn't my first purchase, but it is my first single family home, so one of the most important things to me from the inspection was to learn as much as I could about the house. Matt went above and beyond my expectations. He was happy to have me shadow him as he conducted the inspection - actually, he encourages this. He talked me through all of his major and minor concerns, pointed out things that had been done well vs. poorly, explained proper maintenance of many items, and addressed every single question I had (which were numerous). He even gave me advice on how to approach some projects that I was thinking about once I owned the place. One huge benefit for working with Matt is that he only books one inspection in a day. This means that he's not rushing to get through the inspection quickly, plus he's usually able to finish the report that afternoon/evening. I got my report the same day as my inspection (and it was thorough, he clearly put time into it). I highly recommend HomeSpy!

Great. Chris identified many issues and explained building codes and requirements to us. He was prompt, and communication was great with him before, during and after inspections were completed. Chris does a complete and exhaustive inspection of home features and systems (excluding sewer lines), and then provides an easy to understand and painstakingly compiled report with pictures and explanations of home systems and their functions, as well as identifying any deficiencies in the property you are considering buying. Chris inspected our old home when we bought it in 2007, and we have used many of his recommended contractors and they have been uniformly good experiences. It is a great resource, and much appreciated as it is so helpful to have a trusted number to call if you need a repair (especially when it is an emergency).

It's a new house that we purchased, so the builder went over every item pretty much. They're excellent. Roughly, they were reasonable. They're not pushy. I wanted a home inspection and the other guy tried to sell me something else. These guys, they know what to do, i just signed a contract. They came in very clean, and this gentleman work very hard. He was on time. They're great, both husband and wife work together in tandem, and they're nearby. I don't have any recommendations for improvement.

The inspection was very thorough and provided good suggestions on maintenance and trouble prevention as well as identifying some issues that the seller needed to take care of.  I would use him again.

Chris was very diligent and professional during his inspection. He took time to explain everything and answered all the questions I had. His #1 priority was to make sure that all faults were noted and what we should ask our seller to take care of. The price was higher than I was used to paying for home inspections, but as the adage goes - you get what you pay for and you definitely get your value with Chris.

Chris actually showed up a little early. He was very professional and personable. The inspection was very thorough, including every area inside and out. He walked me through all of his findings and answered any questions I had. The report, that was provided promptly the next day, was also very detailed and professional. I was able to get the seller to make a number of improvements based on the findings in the inspection report, and am closing on the house today.

I called Chris before hiring them to do the inspection, and he patiently addressed and answered all my questions about what would be included in the inspection.  He scheduled and performed the inspection within a few days of my request, and sent me a thorough inspection report.  There were some things that needed to be addressed with the house, and of course that's why one gets an inspection report.  Chris was extremely thorough, and his expertise, along with my request, resulted in a $10,000 credit on the price of the house.  The cost of the inspection was well worth the results.  Additionally, I asked him to perform a radon test, and he informed me that his price would likely be higher than someone else whose business was closer, because he had to take into account the time it would take to come to and from the home twice.  I would call Chris first for any home inspections needed in the future.

Chris at Homespy Inspections was wonderful! We needed a last-minute inspector,and he came to our home in Boulder (and came back for the radon test several days later, even though it was a long drive for him). He was incredibly thorough and went out of his way to spend extra time explaining everything to us. His write-up was very helpful for both short-term fixes and ideas for long-term maintenance. Chris was punctual polite and professional. After each area of the house was inspected he took the time to go back over it and explain to us what he had seen and what repairs were needed. The very next day we had our written report. It is very detailed and clear.

We had our new home inspected by Chris with HomeSpy Inspections. He is very professional, punctual and knowledgeable.  He arrived early and immediately started taking photos of the outside, before we arrived.  It was a chilly morning, so we went inside and met with our home builder superintendent to do our walk thru, while Chris inspected the outside.  Once he was finished, he walked us through the outside, inside and basement and explained how things work, provided advice on how to maintain items, and offered recommendations (like getting water sensors!)  His inspection was very thorough and although he told us if he didn’t find much, we wouldn’t have to pay for a formal report, we decided to have the report completed.  The report was very detailed and included many pictures of what he found.  We highly recommend Chris and will use him again, most likely before our 1 year warranty is up.

We were very pleased with the inspection we received.  It was well worth the money.  I even called Chris to talk with him during the negotiation process as I valued his expertise.  If you are interested in a detailed inspection, please contact Chris.  He was very responsive, professional and incredibly knowledgeable!  We feel confident in our purchase and have a detailed report to refer to when we are ready to make minor repairs in the future.

Chris was great. Very thorough and professional. He went over every detail with me and answered every question that I had. He even answered a question a week later when I called him. I could not be more happier. I could not me more satisfied. As a tradesperson myself, I thought I had noticed everything in the house we are buying that needed attention. After walking the house with Chris, I stood corrected. There is a reason why he is top rated. My advice for people reading this, don't take chances by shopping for the cheapest "anything" when it comes to your home. Reviews and Referrals are the only way to go.

Overall, we are very happy with Chris and HomeSpy Inspection.  He walked my husband through the home and found a few minor things for the builder to address.  We plan on using Chris again for our final home inspection at the end of December.

Mr Anderson was very nice. He prefers to walk around the house with you and show you what he sees, explaining as you go, but gives you the freedom to do what you want or need to while on the property. He was exceedingly thorough, noticing things that I definitely didn't, and that I don't think other inspectors might have. He provided a detailed photographic report within 24 hours detailing the results of his inspection and recommendations based on what was seen.  For example, based on his recommendations, the property was inspected by a certified structural engineer, who stated that he was very impressed by Mr Anderson's discerning eye and that he was better than most other home inspectors.  He also did a very thorough inspection of the furnace, noting that it was not working properly -- something that was only obvious after repeat cycling.

Amazing work!  My Mom was buying a condo up here in Denver and was worried since it was an older unit.  E?mailed HomeSpy and got an immediate reply, scheduled quickly and arrived exactly on time.   Inspection was VERY through and they took the time to explain their findings in a way that me and my 84 year old mom could understand.  I had found some concerns but they found
major things that we had the that we had the buyer fix.  Saved my Mom the cost of the inspection plus tons!  Call them u won't be disappointed!

Chris got to the house before me and worked the exterior including walking the roof.  He then walked me around the outside of the house pointing out specific areas of concern and also items that I won't need to be concerned about at the present time.  
Then he went inside and proceeded to spend about 3 more hours examining everything.  I accompanied Chris for a good part of his inspection asking lots of questions along the way. I certainly felt like Chris was thorough and knowledgeable.  At first I thought the cost was high, but based on the kind of inspection the house received, I got my money's worth and can unequivocally recommend Chris to you. The following morning Chris emailed me a complete written inspection report and Radon report.

Chris was professional, thorough and courteous. He spent over four hours in our home! He wrote a detailed report, with pictures, that was easy to understand. He emailed us the report in record time. We used the report for an important meeting

 with a "Risk Manager" less than 48 hours later. Because of Chris' report, "construction shortcomings"  will be repaired.

I called Homespy inspections and asked for an inspection within the week. Though they were very busy they found a time that worked for our shedule within a few days. The woman fielding calls for HomeSpy (I don't recall her name) was very pleasant and helpful but also very realistic. They returned calls promptly which was helpful in our time crunch.
  On the day of the inspection Chris was right on time, even a bit early and had communicated well with us prior to the inspection so we knew what to expect and what exactly he would be looking at with the inspection. On the day of the inspection Chris was there with us at the house for almost 4 hours. He was incredibly thorough. He checked out all the things we had questions about and some things we would never even think to look at. He talked us through everything while he was doing the inspection. He is incredibly knowledgable and we now know much more about our new house thanks to him.
   As part of the inspection he takes pictures and includes them in his inspection report making it very easy to jog our memory and explain things visually. Chris picked up on all sorts of little things we would never have noticed ourselves and helped confirm issues we had worries about. He addressed everything we had questions about and was patient, kind and informative. My father used to do radon testing professionally and double checked Chris's set up and confirmed that he was doing the test exactly as he should be. Apparently falsy low radon reports can be a problem with inspections.
  Chris sent us our full inspection report within 24 hours and at the inspection gave us a handy binder to keep our report in. for all repairs and maintence Christ gave us a list of people he recommended. They are all one man operations so to quote Christ "you know what you're getting each and every time". Chris's services are a bit more expensive than many other companies but with Chris you get excellent service and peace of mind. Everyone who was present for our inspection was very impressed by him. He left us with no doubts that no stone had gone unturned. Even with the prospect of closing costs in the near future we felt that using Chris and HomeSpy Inspections was money well spent. If we need to do another home inspection Chris will be our first and only call.

My wife and I are first time home buyers and were very pleased with the home inspection Chris gave. We showed up exactly on time, but Chris had already been at the house thirty minutes early! He took time to give a detailed visual inspection of the entire property, starting from the outside, and then walked through each area a second time with us to show what he found and to educate us on condition, future decisions, and lots of helpful options.
