GS Exterior Experts is a highly professional organization and did a superb job on the re-siding of our home. From the first contact with Ernest to the final walk through with Oswald, everything was top-notch! Upon initial contact with Ernest, he took the time to cover all the details and describe exactly what the crew would be doing and gave initial quotes for various options, sticking to the exact cost of the option we chose, which was to completely cover our house and detached garage. I should point out here that their quote was less than others. The crew (headed by Omar) showed up exactly on time each day and stayed as late as necessary to complete each day’s task. The entire hard working crew was pleasant, positive, respectful and worked together incredibly well throughout the entire project, finishing on schedule despite having to do some extra work and adjustments to the original plan. They really seemed to enjoy what they were doing each day, despite the cold temperatures (late December at an elevation of 8,000 ft). The attention to detail was the best I’ve ever seen in watching over 30 years of construction improvements by various crews on our house. (And that’s saying a lot as we have had really good luck with some fantastic construction crews over the years.) It really was amazing to watch how efficient and brilliant the crew was in making sure everything was done to perfection! They were true artists in their work. Any requests I had for specific details during the install were done exactly as asked with a smile. The same is true of any questions I had throughout the entire process. One of the crew members (Moses) was extremely helpful in fulfilling any requests and answering my questions and checking with me to make sure I was happy with specific results. I just cannot emphasize enough how well the work was done- the meticulous attention to detail was outstanding! Following completion (which was the evening before Christmas eve), the project manager Oswald took the time to do a final walk through with me a few days later, immediately taking care of the few tiny concerns I had. He, like the rest of the crew he manages, was amazing- so professional and pleasant to work with! I would highly recommend using this company for any project involving services they offer. They definitely go above and beyond expectations.

Our experience was very positive. I dealt with Juan Vigil (by phone at office) and Oswald Hernandez (on-site). We had 50 year old siding removed and they replaced it with Hardie Board siding because of the new law for houses in the WUIF areas (it's fire resistant siding). GS are Hardie Board experts, and it was done very methodically and expertly. They brought in their own dumpster and PortaPotty for their crews. Every day, they cleaned up before leaving. The lights they had to remove to install the siding they replaced in a way that looked much better than before. I feel confident with this new siding! Well Done!

We had our whole house siding replaced with James Hardie siding, new OSB plywood, insulation, new shutters, gutters, fascia & soffits. The whole shebang! No mixing old with new. Make it all new! The house looks amazing! It’s literally a brand new house. Oswald, Ernest, Moses, Omar and their team at GS do excellent work! Their attention to detail is impeccable. If there are any issues at all, they will take care of it. Don’t stress, rest assured & have confidence in GS Exteriors to do an excellent job with installation & do it professionally. They will strive to make things exactly how you envisioned to ensure your happiness. My satisfaction was very important to them. They take pride in their work and it shows. We hired GS Exterior Experts to replace our roof and gutters after hail damage. They were prompt, responsible, reasonable in their estimate (evidenced by the fact that my insurance company paid promptly and without argument). The materials showed up when expected, as did the crew, and they left my yard looking great. The finished work looks very professional and my house looks better than ever. Thanks guys!

The job was completed within a week of arrival materials. Excellent communication, the crew did a good job. John V was highly professional and competent. Having obtained multiple estimates for the same work, and done some research about what it should cost I found their pricing was neither outrageous not super cheap in an effort to win the bid. They identified a specific problem with the exterior sheathing when the old siding came off which raised the cost 10%. It wasn't something they could have anticipated. I was happy they found and addressed the issue rather than doing a shoddy job. I was not particularly happy when they started cleaning painting equipment on the front lawn, but that was a relatively minor issue quickly addressed. Post completion the minor punch list items were quickly addressed. I would recommend them for the siding work.

They got done quickly and cleaned up after the work was completed. When the old siding was removed from the house, we found that there was very little insulation. The crew stopped the installation and helped install some additional insulation before installing the new siding. The crew was friendly and professional. The siding is beautiful and durable.

Keith and his team were amazing to work with! We had a bit of a delay in getting our insurance claim worked out, plus some other work that needed to be done before we could get around to the siding and gutters. Keith was incredibly patient, no pressure, and was really responsive when I would check-in as the other projects progressed. When it came to the actual work, he was terrific in assessing potential risks and additional costs to the project, gave a transparent and detailed estimate, and his team started on-time, properly permitted, and hit the ground running. The work was done in about 1 week. His team was courteous and professional, non-smokers, quick to ask questions instead of assuming or papering over questionable work, and left things tidy. Steve, the foreman, was always available and on-site, and Keith would respond to texts and emails quickly if we ran up against any questions. This was easily the most positive experience that I have ever had with a contractor. And his credentials, warranties, and attention to detail make it very easy to recommend him with the highest of confidence.

The project was a mid-size to bigger size project that included removing parts of the old siding, soffits, fascia boards, gutters and downspouts and window shutters. The siding was replaced with James Hardie siding with a combination of lap siding and shingles and custom window trim. Shutters were replaced with cedar shutters and all gutters were replaced with seamless gutters. Overall the work completed was top notch . We did have a minor issue with the window trim, but that was fixed to what we were good with and they gave us credit on the final payment for the issue. The GS crew was great to work with, very friendly and very responsive. I would definitely hire them again.

Job went very well. I am well satisfied. This is a professional company. There were no problems. Well supervised. Good crew. Job started and finished on time (in the winter). No cost overruns.

We are extremely pleased with the finished product. The house looks more polished and definately gives it "curb appeal".

Keith Vigil, the owner, quoted the job quickly, covering all aspects and particulars of my unusual mountain house. When we made appointments, Keith arrived right on time, to the minute. He impressed me with his professionalism. The quote was very competitively priced. All of the work done more than met all of my expectations. The professional team was timely, conscientious, and hard-working, completing the job ahead of schedule while maneuvering around days of rain, snow, and hail. They had creative solutions to unexpected discoveries during the process and communicated with me every step of the way. The team, who communicated well with each other and who worked seamlessly together, consisted of: Ken - Team leader; knowledgeable, hardworking, with good managerial skills. It went great! The work was done quickly with attention to doing it right and to my satisfaction. Hire these guys! Five star is not high enough in my opinion. This company replaced siding on one side of my house with James Hardie cement siding and did an outstanding job, so I hired them to replace 8 windows and to replace the trim with cement siding trim. I interviewed 3 other window companies and most do not place protecto tape underneath the trim or replace the trim. The trim on our house was 20 years old and some of it was soft, The builder did not put protecto tape under the trim or weather wrap under the siding when it was built. The caulking had failed and some of the old windows had leaked and there was no protection under the windows or under the siding, so there was rot. GS Exterior Experts did a fabulous job when installing the windows. They removed rotten pressed wood and patched with new and they removed soggy wood and replaced with new under the window sill of a bay window. The replaced trim looks so much better than it did originally! They also did a great job of installing the windows. The front window is a bay window with window panes and it was difficult to install because it had been originally installed unevenly so the panes did not match. Also the window opening was a sloppy square with uneven sides horizontally and vertically. Needless to say, it looks great now. I thought the price reasonable because of the superb carpentry and use of James Hardie cement trim and of course, the very good window installation. Ken, the foreman and carpenter and Keith Vigil, the owner are devoted to doing an excellent job and succeed.

We are very happy with GS Exterior Experts. Keith listened to our needs, and provided a proposal respecting our ideas and budget. The crew were professional craftsmen. They solved some existing weatherproofing issues by rebuilding several soffits and seamlessly replacing portions of siding, and select windows. This avoided residing the entire house. Further damage will be prevented with some innovative flashing details. They kept the site clean, and showed up as scheduled. We received everything quoted, and miscellaneous things were take care of with no extra costs.

The GS Team had several crews- each specialized to do different parts of the job- gutters, siding repair, painting, etc. Each crew was on time, professional and a pleasure to work with. The whole job was completed on budget and ahead of schedule. We are very pleased with the work GS Exteriors did and plan to use them again- and often- in the future.

Lots of nails and debris left behind which wasn't great for small (and large) bare feet. Lack of overall attention to detail. Crew was reluctant to make it right. Paint was applied sloppily. Inconsistent coverage required multiple coats that still hasn't been addressed. We have a guaranteed 12-mos warranty. Hard to imagine they'll honor it.

These guys are really professional, respectful and polite and did a great job! First of all, Keith does not give the hard sales job spending hours at our house trying to get us to decide and sign right then and there which we very much appreciated. He looked at the job and did his presentation answering all our questions we had at the time. He followed up later with an estimate and promptly answered multiple questions multiple times as they came up via email which was convenient for us. I was struck by how organized and willing to satisfy the customer, Keith and his crew. were. While the job was in progress, we texted questions and concerns and Keith quickly responded. As the job was wrapping up on the final day, CJ came to answer any final questions and concerns and oversaw the crew. That was again very much appreciated. They are a James Hardie Preferred Installer, have a good BBB record and are an Angies List member with multiple and recent A ratings. They proved to be knowledgeable, strove and did quality work and we would hire them again. We are so impressed by the work performed and the finished product! It looks great and matches the rest of the house. We highly recommend them!

Excellent work. The expertise of Keith and his team shines through. The house looks brand new. Great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend GS Exteriors. Whenever an issue came up, the communication was solid and options for resolution were proposed. All in all, these guys are pros and we'd hire their team again in a heartbeat.

This was a complicated and time-consuming project that was completed in phases over a period of months. Keith's crews did an outstanding job; many people, other contractors included, have noticed and commented on the quality of the siding work in particular (but the painting crew also was awesome).

One thing that sets Keith apart from most other contractors I have worked with -- in addition to the excellent work product -- is his ability to communicate with me. I like to be involved and know what is going on with my house and money. Keith is receptive to and good at creating a feeling of partnership with the homeowner. He earned my trust quickly by always answering the phone and returning messages, even outside of normal business hours. He is easy to communicate with via email or text. This is a very important consideration for projects of any scale or complexity, because inevitably issues will arise, and when they do, the homeowner needs a contractor with the communication skills required to find a resolution.

I am very satisfied with the results and recommend GS Exterior Experts without hesitation.  

This project went very well from start to finish. GS Exteriors was very fair, patient, courteous, considerate and timely throughout the process from start to completion. GS was very respectful and responsive to our needs and requirements as we planned and as they executed the project. If we had any questions or concerns they listened and were quick to answer and resolve them.

We are very, very pleased with the siding and window installation provided by GS Construction. The price was right, the work done quickly and professionally (original estimate was 5 days, they finished in 2 1/2 days), and both the sales rep and crew leader (Keith and Marvin) were a pleasure to deal with. This project was the best contracted home improvement project we have ever had done -- everything went extremely smoothly and no hassle at all. I don't normally write such profuse reviews of anything, let alone home improvement projects, but GS Construction deserves the highest praise. Many thanks, guys!I received the original bid from Keith within 2 days. And Keith was happy to provide a rough estimate for my siding/window job at the time of his initial site visit to my home. His written proposal essentially matched the cost numbers he had provided in his rough estimate. Another company I contacted for this job took over 10 days to respond back to me.Sales rep, Keith, was very responsive both by telephone and email. I even received emails from him on weekends, which is generally unheard of in business. Crew leader, Marvin, ran the crew very professionally. Marvin was available to answer questions and discuss matters as the work was done. He was very pleasant to deal with.The crew worked very hard throughout the entire project. They arrived early (7-7:30AM) and worked until after 6PM on the 2 full days they were here, and even worked on the 4th of July (Independence Day holiday)! Materials used and (especially) workmanship were excellent. The siding (Hardi-board) and windows were installed per specifications of Hardi-board, and GS Construction is a certified Hardi-board installer. The crew cleaned up around my home at the end of every day of work! This was unexpected but much appreciated. The construction dumpster was removed within 3 days after the job was completed and the Port-a-John was removed 1 day after the crew left. Excess construction materials were removed within 3 days of job completion.

I contacted Keith from GS Exterior Experts for both advice and estimates to repair or replace the siding on a house we just purchased. He responded quickly and set up a meeting to discuss our options. He gave us an honest evaluation of all of our options, along with the cost to do each of them. We decided to have all of the old siding replaced with James Hardie siding and trim (including soffits and fascia, as well as matching gutters). The cost is a bit more than vinyl siding, but we thought the benefits were worth the extra cost, especially here in Colorado where severe hail is a real possibility.I was EXTREMELY impressed by Keith and his crew. He was able to schedule us very quickly and his communication was exceptional. This seems to be very rare these days in the service industry.Bottom line: the work was done quickly and superbly, Keith was in constant contact with us every step of the way and the price was very fair. It is no wonder why GS Exterior Experts has such a great reputation - companies like this are rare!

Keith, Ernest and their team were excellent! They were all extremely professional and friendly before, during and after the work was done. VERY easy to talk to. We never felt intimidated or and quot;dumband quot; asking questions, etc. The quality of their work was very high and their attention to detail was impressive. They finished the job in four days with great efficiency always making sure to check in and get our opinion on design decisions, etc. to ensure we were happy with the progress as they went. We used the James Hardie Color Plus (pre-painted)Siding and it looks great. We have since received numerous comments on our and quot;newand quot; house and couldn't be more pleased! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that asks! Fantastic!

Keith and his crew sided and trimmed an addition to my house and were very quick and responsive.

Work went smoothly. The crew worked with us through all of the small issues bound to come up in a remodel job. They showed up every day, worked to complete the job in a timely manner and cleaned up well after themselves. We had a lot of back and forth with the owners of the company before pulling the trigger to hammer out all of the details of the job. They were quite responsive and helpful through the whole process. We are quite happy with the end result.
