Greenwood Cabinets and Stone

Neil was great. He came over when we were just starting to build out our basement and gave us guidance on how to layout the bar. When they installed Neil was very responsible on questions. The bar looks great and is very functional. He did a great job!

Jeanne listened carefully to the issues we had with our kitchen and then came back with a design to address those concerns.  She did a fantastic job in creating a kitchen that is really functional and beautiful.  At the same time we asked her for ideas to remodel our master bath.  We told her we had no plans to do the bathroom now but wanted ideas.  We liked her ideas so well, that we wanted the new master bath room now.  So, we modified our project budget and had her do everything.  Her entire team was the best ever.  They worked really hard and they were sincerely interested in us liking everything.  The little details they focused on showed they had a lot of experience.  Everyone's experience really came through and demonstrated that we could never have done as great of job on our own.  The team was professional and they treated us unbelievable great.   The most astonishing event was the day they said they would be done, they were done.  They followed the project schedule perfectly.  We can write a book on how good this experiencing is and in fact we had an open house which we have never done before.  We wanted friends and neighbors to not only see our new kitchen and master bath but we wanted them to meet the great people that gave us a beautiful home.

This was the absolute best experience working with the team at Greenwood cabinet and stone. Neil, Jeanne, and Malory all have great design ideas. I would recommend any one of them to design my next project and feel confident that it would look perfect. They have such attention to detail with every aspect of the project from the design to the installation to the last minute details. We started out meeting with Neil Maday from Greenwood Cabinets and Stone. He came up with a new layout (eliminating an island and opting for a peninsula with bar seating) for our kitchen that has worked out wonderfully. Our project also encompassed new hardwood flooring throughout the main level and Neil was great about providing input on that as well. He coordinated with EMW who installed and finished the flooring to ensure that work was getting completed on time. The project timeline was more or less consistent with the original timeline that Neil gave us originally. From start to finish, the project took about 12 weeks, although that was extended somewhat since we were doing the demo and having all of the flooring replaced. Greenwood's portion of the project took about 5-6 weeks in total. I found Neil's experience and design sense to be invaluable. He was not hesitant to express his opinion, and he never led us astray on any of his opinions. I would advise anyone considering hiring Neil to listen to his ideas and take them under serious consideration. There is no point in hiring a designer if you are going to ignore the advice. We did meet with another kitchen designer and got a quote for their services as well. We found the quote from Greenwood Cabinets and Stone to be very much in line with the other quote except that we were not charged extra for the time that Neil spent managing the project. I found Neil to be on top of all the details and I found the people that work for him and with him to be excellent, especially the cabinet installation and finish woodworking. All in all, I would highly recommend Neil Maday and Greenwood Cabinets and Stone and I would not hesitate to hire them for another project.
