Exemplary Painting

We hired Exemplary Painting to paint 5 rooms in our home, as well as all baseboards, interior doors and closet doors. We also needed some minor drywall repair (great job, David and Judith!). The crew was on time and courteous. After the project was completed, Matt (one of the owners) and Rob, our Production Manager, made a special trip to our house to fix an issue with our canned ceiling lights that neither we, nor the painters, could fix. While there, I mentioned to them that the bathroom walls had some inconsistencies in the paint after it had fully dried (it was the last room done and was still wet during our final walkthrough). Rob looked at the room and said, â Weâ ll be back to repaint this roomâ . No hassle, no questions; just a perfect resolution to the problem. What excellent customer service! Itâ s obvious that the people at Exemplary Painting truly care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend!

Exemplary painting was so easy to work with. Their crew was always on time and the project manager came out to check the work and progress daily. At the end, we were not satisfied with the front door and they repainted it no questions asked. They painted the exterior of my house and shed. Highly recommend.

The Exemplary Painting team painted the entire interior of the main floor of our home, including our kitchen cabinets, and did an outstanding job. From the quote all the way through completion of the project the team was professional, respectful, on time, and diligent. We enjoyed getting to work with their design specialist as we decided on colors and different options.Their attention to detail is incredible; they identified areas where they had questions and would confirm any decisions with us prior to moving forward. Their foreman checked in with us multiple times during the project to ensure everything was going well and staying on schedule. We appreciated the high level of communication throughout the project. The finished product speaks for itself and has totally transformed our home. It is astounding what a well done paint job can do to your home. The warranty that Exemplary provides on their work is outstanding and we love that we can have them come back and do touch ups for 2 years after project completion. Their lines are always really good on the walls. They have great attention to detail and they were really good at managing expectations and fixing a couple things that we werenâ t 100% happy with and had a great attitude. Also, great people to have in your home.

What a great experience we had with Exemplary Painting! David and Judith painted our entire upstairs: kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, ceilings, walls, trim, and the best part of all is a gorgeous accent wall in the living room. I used Exemplary Painting to paint the entire interior of my first home. They made the process so simple and stress free and communicated with me throughout the process. The colors are perfect and the lines are so crisp it looks like a brand new home! I couldnâ t be happier! Iâ ve recommended this company to my family and friends as well and they always do a top notch job! Cannot say enough good things about this company!

Horrible company. So many issues that I cannot fully list here so I will touch base on some major ones. Lines were extremely crooked. They painted the metal frames of my windows alongside my trim. I was dumbfounded by this, and it was peeling in less than 48 hours. They literally painted my garage door weatherstripping to the doors sealing my garage doors shut. The garage door openers came to a grinding halt when I tried to open them. They also sealed both my front and back doors shut with plastic while I was in the house. I had to call them to ask them to remove it from at least one door so I could simply get out of my house. When they came to my door wanting to do a final walkthrough I was floored. The paint job was a mess. Even the painters themselves admitted (on video) that the paint job was not acceptable. Yes, you read that right. They admitted themselves on video. I found out during a conversation with one of the painters they were subcontracted, and they did not even know the name of the company they were working for. One individual is heard on video telling the others not to tell me anything. That was suspect. I was quite upset and called the owners of Exemplary. The owners of Exemplary came to walk the house to look at the issues. The owners themselves stated the subcontractors were a problem and that they had to fire them. One owner was polite. One owner was rude and questionable in his character. I documented the walkthrough by video to have proof. The rude owner had a problem with me documenting in video which I immediately found even more suspect. The rude owner argued with me over and over about my garage doors and the fact I was videoing. I had to ask him at least 10 times to quit. When I told the owner I was not going to stop videoing as I wanted independent documentation (no he said, she said), he walked off the job and Exemplary never completed the paint. I had to hire a garage door company to come inspect my door openers for damage. Few months later and we then began to have bubbling. I imagine this company will respond to this review with some nonsense however every issue and every conversation was documented in video. Anyone is welcome to view all the videos before they consider hiring this company.

I hired this company over others that were less expensive because the owner offered to move my furniture. All I needed to do was remove things from my walls and remove items from China cabinets. When the crew came they informed me they only move heavy items. And yet I had to help a crew member move most of those items.

Did a great job , on time very good crews - thanks again , and as a contractor I would use them again!

We hired Exemplary for a bit of everything. Mainly to do the entire exterior of our house. But also to paint our fence which was in really bad shape. We also had them do one interior room that was needed a facelift. We were very pleased with all parts of the project. They had wonderful customer service from the first meeting to assess the job through the final walk through to make sure we were completely satisfied. The painters did a fantastic job and were friendly and professional. The project manager really made you feel heard and that you were in good hands. We had gotten another quote which was fairly similar in price, but Exemplary just gave us a better feeling that the job would be completed to a very high standard, and it certainly was. My brother had used them to paint the interior of his house and highly recommended them. And I do as well - one of the best contractor experiences we've had, I recommend them without hesitation!!

They are quality painter. I also use him in my personal home and they go above and beyond and I've always been impressed with their company.
